hard rock hot tub

I know this may seem really silly but when you go to hard rock hotel that the hotub by the slide is about 104-105 degrees f. There is another hotub that is kept a bit cooler than this (we found this out 2 days before we left

This is true. The hot tub by the slide is almost too hot to enjoy for an extended period of time.

Here's a silly question, but does anyone feel alittle shy about going into the hot tub with other people already sitting in it?

Sometimes when a large group of people are in it together.It's a little uncomfortable.

I have children but they now better to act up in the hot tub but others are just to much.I think no children should go into the hot tubs.Im looking to relax and kids come in and jump around.
What do you think?

I do get weirded out if alot of people are in there. Now as for kids, I allow my DS to go into the tub with me, but he knows it's only to sit down and relax. If he wants to play we have to go back to the pool. I think it's all in the parents. I would not let my child go alone to a hot tub or a pool for that matter.

My kids love the hot tub. I guess I kind of think that if someone wants a hot tub without kids they need to go to an adult only resort or buy one for their home. You asked what people thought, I am not trying start anything, LOL.

Some places have signs posted that children under a certain age can not use the hot tub (ie. 16). If its crowded then the kids should get out for the adults to use it. IMO

I went into the steam room at PBH last Tues. and I couldn't last more than a couple of seconds. When I turned to leave my son was playing around by blocking the door. I couldn't breathe and the temp. was 140 degrees. He saw the sheer panic in my eyes and opened the door. Steam filled the outer room. The next day they had an out of order sign on the door. That was scary.

I always heard hot tubs aren't good for children health wise either - something about blood pressure. Older teens maybe, but keep the little ones out.
