Hard Rock Check in time?

I will be staying on site at Universal for the first time ever this Jan. Our first Universal trip will be at the Hard Rock Hotel. How earlycan you check in? We should be arriving around 8am. I would like to get checked in and to thepark around opening time if possible. THanks for any help you can provide.

Is the Hard Rock Hotel a good choice for our first onsite trip? I am very excited.

We stayed for just one night in August & checked in at 8am with no problems. We requested a room on an higher floor which wasn't ready but they offered us a room straight away on a lower floor.

We got our FOL passes , left our luggage with them & headed via the boat , straight to the parks. We were early but we prefer that.

We left the parks approx 3.30pm & checked in. They will notify you when your room is ready by your mobile/cell phone.

We loved the HRH & I'm sure you will too.

When we visited in June we arrived around 8am and checked in and got our park tickets but our room was not ready.We stashed our luggage at the desk and headed for the parks and called later to make sure the room was ready.

The official "Check in Time" is 4pm. At this point your room should be ready. However if you arrive earlier, they will check you in store your luggage and give you your room keys for FOTL access at the parks. You can have the front desk call you and notify you when your room is ready.

In June, our room wasn't ready, so they gave us room keys that had not been activated, so we could still take advantage of FOTL access. Someone at the front desk called my cell phone when our room was ready. We stopped at the desk to have our keys activated. Bell services kept our luggage while we were at the parks.
