I would like to get some opinions on these two restaurants.
What did you order?
How was the food?
The service?
Did you feel like you got your monies worth?
Would you go back?

Thank you :)

Never ate at Pastamore but I did the Hard Rock Cafe this past July and thought the food was great DW had SOB burger and so did youngest DS and the burgers were huge and oldest DS had the half pound burger and I had the pulled pork sandwich and we all shared nachos topped with beef brisket which I thought where better than Margarittaville's but it was pretty pricey but well woth it.
Yes I would go back agian just for the nacho's :rotfl:

Thanks for the response. I had read their menu and wanted to go, but when I clicked on dining (at the top of the Disboard page) the review was really bad. I am glad you enjoyed it so much, I thought the menu sounded really good.

I prefer Hard Rock Cafe to Pastamore.

We've eaten twice at Pastamore (the last time was last month) and were not impressed with the flavor. The service was fine though. I had the Baked Lasagna, which was ok. It came with both Marinara and Alfredo sauces. The Marinara sauce was fine, but I didn't like the Alfredo sauce on the Lasagna.

I've heard for good Italian food at Universal, go to Mama Della's at Portofino Bay Hotel. We tried eating at Mama Della's but there was a 90 minute wait for seating. It didn't look crowded so I'm not sure why there was a seating delay.

As for the Hard Rock Cafe, my wife and I split the Jumbo Combo on our last trip. Although the chicken wings on the Jumbo Combo weren't good, the other selections (Santa Fe spring rolls, onion rings, potato skins and chicken tenders) were. I've also had good cheeseburgers from HRC in the past.

I've been to Hard Rock 4 or 5 times -- absolutely love the place. The food is quite good, but that's not the main appeal. If you have any interest in rock memorabilia and history, the place is amazing. One night we went and it was pretty empty so we walked around and checked out all the stuff - it was like a rock museum. It's even fun sitting at the bar enjoying a drink and some nachos or whatever...

To me, it's a "not to be missed" place.

i've never had a bad meal at HRC.

i have tried many of their items and thought all were super.

Never ate at HRC [must put that right next year], have ate at Pastamore a couple of times each visit, what did we have ?, i could not tell you, but we keep going back ,the food is good, never had any problems with any meals, and service has been excellent.
Will be eating here again next year as well.

if you have the All Access card, you get head of the line at HRC. Priority seating over the hotel guests.
also, show your card and have the amount you spent there processed on your card.

for every $200 you spend at hrh (soon to be) and hrc, you get a $20 credit on your card.

that is what i used to pay for my meal when i was at hrc last month.

Ate at Pastamore and never was impressed..imo

HRC seemed to have better food!!

My fav is Bubba;s and LATIN QUATER!! The Cuban sandwich is the best I ever had..

The part that gets me is everything is made in the same kitchen, underneath CW..Except for the ones that have open kitchens-Emirils etc.:)

They are so many choices at CW its hard for me too choose a fav//:confused3 alot of choices with very good pricing!!!!!

Pastamore' used to be a msut do for us, but the last time wasn't as good.
We can get much better Italian locally so we skip it.

HRC's food is ok, nothing outstanding.

Personally I would rather go to Margaritaville and NBA city

We ate at both HRC & Pastamore and next time we'll go back to HRC!

We have FANTASTIC Italian restaurants here where we live (one is Zagat Rated Top in the Area) so we're very spoiled. Even our DDs didn't really like their meal at Pastaore, one had Chicken Parm and the other Pasta with Clams, NOW Latin Quater was so much better!

Have a great time!

I have never eaten at Pastamore, but Hard Rock Cafe is just okay for me. It's more of the nostalgia I guess? They have really good Hurricanes from the bar though. :goodvibes

Hmm! That's two votes for Latin Quarter.

I've never tried Latin Quarter. We talked about eating there on our last trip but my dad's a picky eater and we knew he wouldn't like it. I'll have to try it when its just the wife and I. She didn't see anything on the menu that appealed to her, but she's an adventurous eater, like myself, and I'm sure I'll be able to get her to try it on a future trip.
