Here is some backgorounf info ( sorry for it being so long)
I live in a town that is heavyy agricultural. I live on 4 acres a mile from the center of town. It is a residential area and there are alot of people near me that own horses, chicken and other animals and have far less land than I do. We have a permit for our animals and I have 2 ponies, 2 goats, 2 cats, 1 rabbit and 8 chicken. My animals are quiet with the exception of the goats, they like to talk whenever someone is outside and they want attention but 95% of the time they are quiet. we have lived here with animals for over 3 years and no one even realises we have animals and no one has ever complained. In fact my neighbors most of the time forget they are there.
There is a 1 acre lot next door to my neighbor that a company is trying to 12 condos on. They are having problems with the city and are in the process of trying to sue the city to get what they want. The neighbors are all against it. Fortunetly it will take a while with the lawsuit. The owners have leased out the building to a landscaping company for the time being. ( the city didnt know this until my neighbor called to ask why she wasnt informed about the change, which as an abuttor, they have to inform her because of the zoning)
We dont care that they are there because we would rather have them than 12 condos!
here is where the problem is. one or 2 of the workers has been harassing my female neighbor by making goat noises at her whenever she is outside. They sit in a truck taking a break and make these noises at her all day whenever she takes her puppy out. I didnt hear them do it until yesterday and both my hubby and i heard them and we are 2 yards away. I called my neighbor and she said she wasnt outside and that when i realised they were doing it to me. we have also seen them stand at the fence and do it to the goats, to make them louder. The goats are quiet until these guys start and then they get them going until they go away.
My husband told me the next time, I hear it to go next door and ask to speak to the owner and mention sexual harassment and also threaten going to the town to have them issue a quiet order until 8am because they are out every morning before 7 with there huge diesil trucks. We have nothing against them being there but if they are going to harass us and my animals, they are going to be sorry..
