Harambe Nights "Fond Farewell"

I took the plunge and will be Harambe Nighting during my July trip.

What will the "Fond farewell we won't soon forget" be?

I immediately thought fireworks,but quickly remembered it is DAK.

"Be sure to stick around as the night draws to a conclusion too and receive a fond farewell you won’t soon forget!"

Whatever it is,it must be really big for Disney to "hype" it like that.

I'm going to the first one...guess I'll find out. Bet it's just some characters waving you out of the park.

My guess is a preview of the new nighttime light show. Probably more wishful thinking than anything.

We have such a knowledgeable Board here-it wouldn't surprise me at all if one of our great DISers(possibly a CM DISer) has this info.

I would forget that before I got to Discovery Island!lol

There was a rehearsal for "The Lion King Concert in the Wild" tonight.

Reports are it runs about 55 minutes and is very well done(it better be considering the prices!lol).

You are probably right about the fireworks, but it would be a pleasant surprise We are looking forward to our reservation in July - hope it doesn't disappoint!

It is limited to the number of seats in the venue. 1000 comes to mind but I do not know that for certain. I read the figure somewhere but I do not remember the exact figure
