EEEEEEE!!!! OK, so I planned a whole trip to Disneyland last summer that had to be canceled & I didn't think I'd be able to reschedule it for several years. And by planned, I mean: literal hour-by-hour schedules, with printed out FP and WOC strategies (thanks Hydroguy!), and lists of souvenirs I wanted, and menu planning along with target dates to call & get reservations. A leeeeeetle bit OCD but whatever. I was enjoying the anticipation and I was devastated when I had to cancel.
But now.... My sister has just found out that she has to work in Anaheim on two consecutive weekends in January so she's staying for the week in between, with her job paying for the hotel and car rental. So now I have a trip for the cost of the airfare & park tickets - too good to pass up. I'm buying my plane ticket to join her, tomorrow!
I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!
You guys just don't understand. I grew up in Florida, going to the World on a very, very regular basis. As in "let's get out of school early & go until close tonight" regular. I've had annual passes for close to 20 years as an adult. So I've been literally hundreds of times.
But never, NEVER Disneyland! And now, suddenly, I'm going to be there next month!!
omg I'm actually tearing up.
So I'll probably ask dozens of questions because I want to make sure I don't make crazy mistakes & miss something. Pretty sure I'm going to have 4 park days, plus take one day to visit LA. Because (who are we kidding?) this trip is about Disney with a small side of oh-yeah-the-rest-of-California-how-cute. And this off-season schedule is really throwing me for a loop because I had everything planned out for summer hours.
But whatever whatever whatever because I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!
