I guess i'll say yes, i booked in January for Dec 9-29 with alamo, used the walmart code from mousesavers, and a 15 dollar off coupon for a grand total of 507.28 for standard SUV. I am looking at rates now and they are over a grand.

The Walmart code does not seem to be helping lately. I too am glad I booked for 11/19-12/01 while it worked. Still hoping for a better rate than our $333 all included intermediate before we leave.

:rotfl:
i used the walmart code today just to see and i came up over 2k, no it is just a code you don't need anything else to hand in.

Yep, happy with my rental rate. Full size Sept 9-16, all inclusive 130. Lowest I have been able to find, and I reserved that about two months ago.

I am very happy with my Alamo rate, I got it yesterday, for 8/25 - 9/4 for a full size for 168!! :)

I'm happy. Last January, I reserved an Alamo minivan for this January 7-14. $172.23 for the week - no coupon, used rate code 430710, which I think is a Walmart code.

I guess it pays to reserve early, though it also pays to recheck rates later.

I couldn't find anything for under $400 fullsize for DEC18-22 .I was just going to forget about the rental then I started checking the DTD and CCC/Dolphin sights and found a way better rate at Dollar in Gosvners .It was with no code at all just booked through that location direct from the Dollar sight.

I think I'm going to start to do this and utilise ME from now on as long as it's free and the rates are the same or better.

So far, October's been a pretty rough month to get a good rate.
However, I booked a full size with Hertz for $163 total from a Friday to Friday, and I'm pretty happy with that.

I booked through Priceline at first i got $164.50 for a Mid sized car for a week through budget. Then I looked last night it went down to $152.50 for the same car, the same time, the same cupon code, the same company, the same everything.

I was able to use the entertainment book code on top of the priceline deal.

I have two midsized cars(9 people going), both with double upgrades. Woohoo :cool1:
