Hi all. So my kids really wanted to go horseback riding. We had done it on our honeymoon and wanted to do it for our 15th anniversary. Our problem was the company Disney users is only licensed for 10 and up. I had an almost 8 yo as well as two older children. So I spent a lot of time researching and decided on Happy Trails. Wanted to share here because as we went to get our rental car several other families had mentioned they wished they could do the same but also had 7 -9 year old age kids. Happy Trails allows kids 6 and up. They were excellent with my children. I will say my kids are very athletic and focused. My youngest horse decided to stop and eat once but she got him out of it quickly. The owner said he was impressed with how my daughters handled their horses. They really had no experience prior.... this was their first trail ride. Anyways thought I would share for others who are in the same boat. Mine were so disappointed about the Disney ride and I really took the time to call and speak with Happy Trails and we really had such an nice experience I knew I would post here after.
