We did the same since yesterday was my wife’s birthday. Which also meant that I got to make dinner on my own while she relaxed. Had some friends over to help us eat, which was good since I made a bit of stuff - rib roast, leg of lamb, roasted root veg, roasted mushroom gravy and Brazilian cheese balls (Pão de Queijo). Had a slight panic as my meat thermometers wouldn’t stay in the same spot, meaning I was guessing on the cook, but they turned out just slightly over what I wanted.
