I still can't get over that fact that my baby is driving. My how time flies!

I am not looking forward to Dec 2...as she is driving to school alone that day.... I want to follow her but I know that won't help either one of us...

She'll be fine. Just have her call you when she gets there. But tell her I said she can't drive when the weather gets bad!

I've already told her she must text me when she arrives... she must text me before she leaves to return home.. it's a 3 minute drive on a good day... 5 on a bad day...
She must wear CLOSED toe shoes (not flip flops, no slide on shoes, etc)... She can NOT drive her siblings for 3 months, however, state law says on day 1 she can drive her siblings around... she can NOT drive friends for 6 months (state law says 90 days)...
Nope, once the bad weather hits.. not gonna happen.. I know it will happen at some point because white stuff will fall but she won't be driving but from school home and we've told her if you are comfortable call us, we'll come get you and go back to get the truck/car later...

I hope you all had a wonderful day. We have a lovely crowd of 16 at our house. It was fun with lots of great food!
I'm thankful for to many things to name!

I hope everyone traveling is safe this weekend and that all you bargin hunters are successful tomorrow. We will spend the day putting up the Christmas stuff and then have a dinner ot at the Melting Pot!

well it's my first time to get here today!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm thankful for my family and especially my boys. I thankful I had my mother with me for as long as I did. Today was so sad without her. I missed her soooooooo very much. Had lots of meltdowns, but I made it. I'm also thankful for my friends. both new and old. You all are so special to me. Thank you all for your friendship. This year has been so hard for me and I'm not sure I would have made it without all of you.
Thank you for the men and women who serve this country and give up so much for us to be able to have freedom. Thank You!

I HAVE To go to bed. I have to be up and meet my niece at 3 to be at the stores at 4!

oooohhh she was so thankful i have bubba in my life. and my dh. she loved my boys. and they loved her too. something is said for a man to hold him mil's hand until her last breath. i will never forget that about him. he loved her right till the end. and i love him for that!

We did see the Blind Side - SO GOOD! I don't care much for football itself, but somehow I love football movies - Remember the Titans, We are Marshall, etc. Especially the ones that make me cry and this one did several times. Very inspiring. And Tim was very yummy.

DH and I are just back from Target (returns), ACM, BJs, the grocery store, and Lowe's - the stores are kinda empty now, so we zipped through everywhere. Whew...!
