Good morning, CC!

I am being very productive today - DH & I are sitting and waiting for TS Hanna to come ashore. It looks like it will hit land between here and Mobile, AL. It should be on land in a couple of hrs.
We plan to go next door and have b'day cake & presents for our DgrD. She is 9 today! You met her at the BW, CC. Her party had to be postponed because of the TS.

Maybe tomorrow will be nice. Usually the day after a Hurricane is beautiful. I guess everything gets washed really well.

Browneyes, she is use to having a TS threat this time of year. I think this is the 1st time they have had to postpone her party, but it has come close before. The year DD was pg with her, there was a Hurricane Emily - I asked DD if maybe this was a sign!

Are you expecting any rain from the storm? I know it is due to head toward your area - it may rain itself out by then.

Not sure how much longer I'll have the computer on - the weather is beginning to get worse. We will probably lose power at some time this morning.

Poohstyx, my 9 yo dd's bday is at the end of March (the 29th). We never know what kind of weather to expect for her bday. We had the biggest snowstorm ever the March I was pregnant with her (Blizzard of '93 is still talked about around here!). Her 1st bday party a tornado touched down about 5 miles from where we had her party. We had a some flooding too. When we got home, the water was up to the top of our car tires. The next year everyone was complaining about the unexpected hot temps. We either have tornado's touching down somewhere nearby or we have summer-like temps every year for her bday. I think your DgrD and my dd's problem is they were born in '93.

We've had some rain today. Looks dreary outside, but nothing like what you've got! I hope Hanna goes away soon!
