**Happy Mother's Day/Mothering Sunday**

My two teenagers forgot about Mothers Day. DH did a night shift last night so he's only up now. Obviously without him here to remind them, they didn't think of it. At 14 and 17 you'd think they could remember it all by themselves! I could kill them. My 7yo is sick with the flu and in bed all day, poor thing, but she did make me a lovely plant pot in school last week so at least I got that. She was so sweet to me. Otherwise I'd feel totally unloved (as opposed to just 95% unloved which I feel now). To make it worse they've all just piled into the car in a not-so-subtle attempt to buy me something from the local shop. I told them not to bother now, it's too late and means nothing now.

Oh dear Deb That's such a shame to hear, those pesky teenagers eh? Lets hope they surprise you with another gift maybe on a different day when you least expect it Still, a happy Mother's day to you and I hope you're youngest feels better very soon

boys got me flowers and a lovely family photo frame , great what a girlfriend dose to an all boys family

decided to take my Mum out for the day , spent it shopping and a lovely meal afterwards not long home

I had a lovely mothers day, missed out on breakfast in bed though as had to be up at 7am to take ds2 to an athletics meet.

I got some lovely cards, 2 were homemade in school ( always my fav). I also got a lovely mug and socks and a box of shortbread. My ds2 then presented me with a small butterfly cushion that he had made in school, it is really nice.

Once we were home from the athletics dh and the kids made dinner and dd decorated the table. I was so shocked and surprised when I sat down to find a chamillia catalogue and note from all the kids telling me to look through the catalogue and choose any bangle and charm that i wanted . Apparently they had been in the jewellers but were a bit ovrwhelmed by the selection so thought it best if I chose. I now can't wait until I get shopping although it will be at least next weekend before I can go

Sorry, I'm a little late finding this thread, hope all the mums had a lovely day.
I was very spoilt by my two gorgeous girls

I got a Minnie Mouse ears T-shirt, Minnie wearing a lovely spring dress & hat, a blue & silver bracelet, a large chocolate princess, chocolate bars & chocolate lolly and (not on the photo), some daffodils and another chocolate lolly that I have already eaten and a box of Thornton's chocolate cats and butterflies that I shared with my girls.
They made some chocolate crispy cakes on Sunday too!
