Has anyone had any bad experiences with Happy Limo? We are thinking of using them, but noticed that they charge an automatic $10 gratuity and I'm guessing they will expect more in person. The other companies charge more, but don't charge an automatic gratuity. They also charge a $2 Airport Surcharge. Does everyone charge this?

Also, Happy Limo says that you have to call them when you get to baggage claim and then they will be there in 5-6 minutes. If you want them to meet you in baggage claim, you have to request it. Is it like this with the other companies or do they automatically wait for you in baggage claim.

Any help you can provide would be great. We are trying to save money because we are spending so much on the trip to WDW and the cruise.

Thanks!

Hi eeyorekjs7 -

We're also trying to save money but still go the town car route. Where did you find the info re: auto gratuity and airport surcharge on the Happy Limo site? I'd like to be able to keep an eye out for the other site's hidden charges also.

Thanks!

Because of new Airport restrictions, towncars and limos are no longer allowed to wait for you at the pickup location. Only active loading and unloading is allowed. This means they have to wait in a special parking area away from the terminal. I'm guessing they're waiting in that area, then you call, and they come up and pick you up. Otherwise, if you request for them to meet you... they'll meet you, but then they have to walk down to the parking garage, pick up the towncar, and then come get you. This whole process might take like 20 minutes or so longer. This might be just an effort to save time *shrug*

Just so you know All Town Car Companies can meet and greet upstairs on level 2 (baggage claim area) and park there cars in buss holding or CVPA parking which is level 1 but some Companies don't!! Like the one that eeyorekjs7 is talking about!!
