Happy Limo, I got a bad feeling about this.

@Skiton & @emilyann415 My reponse to the driver would have been, your $30 tip was based on the advertised complimentary food stop. No stop, no tip.

@wcw57 I am sure it was not a bogus phone number from a redirected web page. I typed the URL in myself.

@skytrace I am sorry, the day just got away from me today and I was unable to call them back. I will try again tomorrow.

Thank you again to everyone for you input and advice.

Based on the way you presented your concerns, I would be making it a priority to call them back and confirm that your reservation is just as you want it to be. Actually, based on how you described your conversation with this company, I would have ended the call immediately and gone to plan B.

Anyways, I'm with wcw57... just because you type in a url yourself, doesn't mean that it didn't get redirected.... That's the point. Sites get hacked, and their site is then redirected to a bogus site. They get your payment info and you get scammed. Not saying that's what happened here, but you can't be sure just because you typed in the url.

I'm not sure that I would be comfortable giving an ultimatum to someone at the wheel with my family in the passenger seat. Just saying. I may not have tipped them as well when they came to a stop and dropped me off - but I definitely wouldn't be "threatening" them with a loss of tip while driving.

Hope everything works out for you.

Usually when I get a bad feeling about something, it rings true. I hope this time I am wrong. I read all the awesome reviews about Happy Limo on this site and on other sites.

I called there this morning and spoke with Diane. She gave me a bit of the "Hobo Brush," answering my questions before I finished them. She then cut me off and asked if she could call me back. I agreed.

Diane called me back several hours later to complete my reservation. I wanted a Lincoln town car from the Poly to the port. She said, "Lincoln town car?" Yes, the one on your website. She said, "oh, oh a yeah, yes."

She asked what time I wanted to be picked up. I said our PAT was 10:30, and asked what time she recommended. She said they would pick us up at 11:00. 11:00?; I asked. That is after my PAT. Oh, she replied. What time would you like to be picked up? I said 9:00, that would give us time for our complimentary stop at Publix.

She then took my credit card number and email address. I asked if I would receive an email confirmation. She said yes, there is plenty of time for that. She then read back my pick up date, which was two months after my actual pick up date. I gave her the date again, and she again replied "oh, oh yeah, and repeated the correct date.

I will call after I receive the email to confirm all of the details. I can't help but think this is not going to go off as plan. I have my fingers crossed that it was just a busy day for them or perhaps just under staffed.

Please tell me I am wrong and it will turn out for the best.

I have used Happy Limo on 2 different WDW round trips with no huge problems, though things weren't always completely smooth. Their cars were in great shape, the drivers were competant, & I always got to my destination. But...once a driver was waiting for me at the Contemporary Tower when I had very clearly made a reservation for pick-up at Bay Lake Tower. He said they had just told him Contemporary, so I knew the office had made the mistake. Another driver was 10-15 minutes late. Another driver kept telling my 10 year-old son about all the great rides at Universal while he was driving us from the airport directly to our Disney resort. After those experiences, which still turned out okay (so don't panic, they are legit), I decided not to use them again. I'd try Orlando Airport Town Car Service next time.

After speaking with the incompetant representative you spoke to, I would definitely call back another time of day (to hopefully get another person to talk to), and insist on an email confirmation of the scheduling details. The driver will text you the day before & day of your transportation, so be ready to receive those, & text back the pick-up details as a reminder to that driver directly.

I've used Happy Limo once, this past April. Everything was fine. They were about 15 minutes early picking us up at the resort. We went straight to the port and were dropped off right at baggage drop off. I booked online and received the confirmation right away. People can always mess things up, that's why I prefer booking online.

I used Happy Limo this past August and wasn't impressed. The drivers were friendly but both were late in picking us up. I'm just happy I gave myself extra time. I'll stick with Disney transportation.

We just used them for our cruise in November. We booked online and never talked to anyone until our driver texted us he was on his way to pick us up from Wilderness Lodge. He was on time and it was a great experience in a large SUV. I would definitely book them again. Great service.

wont get into too much detail

used Happy Limo twice (hiring private bus for 20+ people) for DCL and WDW trips

WORST company we have ever worked with.

do yourself a favor and use FL Tours

Go with your gut.

We used them for our first cruise. I had a bad feeling when I got off the phone with them. Sure enough, they messed up our reservation. I called and got it corrected. Then, they forgot to pick us up at the port to go back to MCO. We called 3 times, and finally saw someone that worked for them that had just dropped off cruisers. We got him to take us to the airport. He didn't want to at first, but finally did.

We will never use them again. We use DCL transport now. ($35 per person per trip)
Yes, go with your gut. We rented a limo with another family. They picked us up, then drove the wrong hotel to get the second family. So we were late picking them up. On the way, we get a flat tire. We sat 2 hours waiting for a replacement. We were not far from the airport and even asked them to call a taxi. Finally, a new limo arrives. They are apologetic and tell us when we get home to call and they will adjust our bill. We tipped appropriately. When we got home I called and talked to some who sounded like who you talked to. She would not help. I asked for a manager and he told us the drivers were wrong in telling us that. Since we didn't miss the ship, then they did not feel they owed us any compensation, ugh. Very poor customer service.

@party-of-five Thank you for your concern about my possibly being redirected to a clone webpage. I highly doubt that someone would hack into happy limo's web page, only to redirect me to their phone number. Now if you told me I was redirected to a cloned web page with the intent of stealing my identity or credit card information, after I clicked on a phishing email, I might agree with you.

Let's face it, it is a $140.00 town car drive to the port. The bad guys have bigger fish to fry. Hacking a webpage to get me to call a bogus phone number for a $140 fare is far fetched. To prove my point, no charges have been posted to my account as of tonight.

In my opinion, You have to stand up for yourself. I have always, and will always stand up for myself, and would definitely feel comfortable politely explaining to the driver that I would not be tipping since he / she deemed there was not enough time for the advertised complimentary food stop. I would also feel comfortable filing a Reg E with my credit card carrier to reverse the charges if they made bogus claims of a food stop, or the charges were false. Even more if it proved to be bogus scheme or nefarious plot to have me book through a fake sight. Just saying.

Thank you however, for your wishes that everything works out for me. I always have a backup plan and am positive we will be at port on time.

@Racer X i agree doomed. Haha! @orion2185 Thank you for your input as well. That is all I was looking for, input about experiences regarding Happy Limo. @Sytrace Thank you for your interest in as well. I will definitely let you know.

When I asked for someone to tell me I was wrong, I was hoping to hear their experiences and thoughts, much lke the replies received from @Racer X , @orion2185, @Sytrace, @emilyann415 and the many others who have shared your experiences. I didn't want advice from my wise uncle, just your experiences.

Thank you and kudos to those who posted Kingdom to port services with positive results. That is exactly what I was looking for.
