Some famous Lefties:
Alexander the Great
Julius Caesar
Napoleon Bonaparte
(Lord) Admiral Horatio Nelson
Joan of Arc
Leonardo Da Vinci
Bill Clinton (Duh)
Harpo Marx (Not to mention Karl)
Matt Groening and Bart Simpson
Letterman AND Leno
The Manhattan Transfer (all 4)
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr
Jack the Ripper
Howie Mandel

My dad and my DH are lefties...I will have to let them know that it's their day!:cool1:

Oh wow, I haven't heard about this since I was a kid reading lefthanders magazine ... (Don't ask... )

Happy day right brainers! Now let's lobby for lefthanded corkscrews and scissors and and and and... so we don't die earlier than righties due to weird accidents with stuff intended for right handed people! :rolleyes1

Hmmm...maybe I should celebrate by going for a drive and only making left-hand turns (at least I won't get lost!). :teeth:

FYI - I've already slapped myself hard a few times left handed for comments made elsewhere...;)

My ds is left handed. I better not tell him there is a special day for that though, he doesn't need anymore reasons to party.

Just out of curiousity, how come I'm not on that list?????

I hate making left handed turns. I hate them so much that if I have several places to visit, I will plan my stops so that I make as few left hand turns as possible. It is a talent, or something I should seek therapy for :)

Well don't worry....we'll have some therapy on the Podcast Cruise and only take you into bars that require a left turn! I predict you'll be fine in just a couple of "sessions". :teeth:

Another lefty here! My brother is one too. He actually called me last year to wish me a "Happy Lefty Day!":thumbsup2

Actually, in my family lefties are the "norm" and right-handers are the odd-balls. My mom, dad, myself, my husband, and my daughter are left-handed. My sis and bro are right-handed.:cheer2:

I'm a lefty too - only one in my family! But I was also the only one to go to college - so that means lefties are more college driven and smarter I am sure. ;)
