I'm sitting here debating whether to go in or not!

I am paid hourly so if I don't go in, there's a day pay gone! But then if something happens, then it could be more than that!?!

I drove my kids to school, went for tea at another DISer's and now I'm listening to Calypso music and reading about my WDW CBR trip! YIPPEE! S

My power has been off since 6:30 am.. its getting COLD in here... hope they get it fixed soon they said my power would be back on by 10:30.. well it is 12:15 now so I don't think they met that goal.

I have a generator for the sump pump and I just plugged the modem in to check my email. wish the furnace can run off the generator!

I'm working from home today (I'm very lucky to be able to do that once in awhile). The roads are terrible and I'm really glad I decided to stay here - my husband said it took him double the usual amount of time to get into work!

I thought the same thing this morning Snowy days make me miss my old job. I use to start at 12pm so it was easier getting around ... less traffic and the roads were usually cleared by then.

I can walk to work in 4 minutes.....the school I work at is literally in my backyard. I've been out and about today and the roads are okay. I just drive slow and think of FLORIDA! heeheehee. S

I dropped DD off at school at 11:30 a.m. and headed into work............NOT!

When I took the exit to get on the highway, which luckily is a street with business on it, and saw the bumper to bumper traffic, turned around and went back home! Not worth sitting in traffic for two hours!

I'll try again tomorrow!

Safe travels to those that are stuck due to the tanker overturned on the 400!

I'm in Winnipeg (brrrrrr!!!!) but fly to MCO from Pearson next Monday! Please, please, please get all your nasty, ugly weather stuff over with this week and have beautiful clear blue skies for flying next week!

If my flight were to be cancelled I think I might actually pop a blood vessel!!
