Last time I went (in 1999) I remember how much I loved the Shamu show, and this time, it seemed like it was all the same trick, over and over and over again. I was extremely dissappointed with it overall. Maybe, just maybe, my mind is a blur and the show that I went to the first time was the same, but no....I have pictures of multiple orca's performing at the same time. Oh well. Did anybody else think this, or was it just me?
I did love the rest of the park though, especially how quiet it was the day I went. Literally walked into the sea lion area and was the only person there, with the exception of the worker. I got to feed the sea lions and nobody else was there. The dolphins were so playful too. I did have a great time, and loved the Kraken ride (except that it was down for 15 minutes while I was waiting to get on - but there were people on it while the ride was down in the middle of the roller coaster, so at least I was safe on the ground).
Anyways, planning on going again on my return trip in 2006.
Jo
