We leave monday- anyone know of any happy hours at the WDW? And can anyone list where the cheapest prices are for beer/booze/wine- on property? For room and night out?

I don't know of any Happy Hours at Disney but if you do the Hoop Dee Doo Revue all your beer/sangria is included. You can always bring alcohol from home for your room or to sit outside by the pool. But I will be subscribing just to see what other suggestions you get. :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

The cheapest beer is at the Hess Markets gas stations.

There is one across from Downtown Disney that is easy access if you don't have a car. (Take a Downtown Disney Bus from your resort, get off at the 2nd stop, turn right as you exit the bus instead of left. Head towards the traffic light and crosswalk. You can't miss it.)

There is one across from the Boardwalk.

There is one at the Car Care Center as you exit the Magic Kingdom parking lot.

The resort shops sell beer by the six pack out of coolers and they are less than the bars/food courts.

I don't think they have happy hour either - but one time the lounge at Polyn had something - which I could remember what....

the lounges at POR and POFQ have free entertainment.... I know about POR but I was assured that POFQ has free entertainment too...

where are you staying?

We were at Pleasure Island, and it seemed as though it was Cast Member night. Bud/Bud Light was 2 dollars, and there was some other deal too. Most of the crowd was CM's so the GF and I assumed that the deals were for them. So there is a sort of Happy Hour in WDW

The best beer value I found is at Big River Brewing on the Boardwalk. Their microbrews are very good and about $4.50/pint (close to home prices). Compared to $7.00 in EPCOT, it's a bargain. Mid afternoon is slow there. You can sit outside and soak up rays or sweet talk you way into a tour of the brew works (If the brewer is available and agreeable.)

Mondays and Thursdays, draft beer only (I think draft Sam Adams is $3 which is still a good deal). If you buy a bucket at the Beach Club, you can get a good deal on refills.

I agree you cannot beat the Hess stations for beer. Most resort gift shops sell flasks of top shelf liquors at prices that are on the high side but not outrageous. If you can get slightly off property, the ABC store on 535 (a block up from Palm Parkway) usually has the best prices in the area.
