Happy Hour

5th time at USF at our favorite - RPH club. Finally at age when kids are old enough (late teens) to "park" it alone. Looking for "in park" or city walk places with Happy hour to sit and relax, watch crowds with discounted beverages. Any info appreciated.

Margaritaville is a neat place to people watch. They have wooden beach chairs outside that are very comfortable to sit in and rest. Happy hour there runs from 1pm to 5pm for a few domestic drafts and margaritas (what else?). Nascar Cafe runs draft specials all the time. For the bars in the parks, the happy hours vary. Some start at 4pm, others 5pm. You'll have to walk up and ask or look up at the signs.

RPR Club is our favorite too!

Try Finnegan's between 4-6. Half price draft beers and well drinks, and they always have some kind of entertainment.

Happy Hour a been totally revamped in the last few months. No more happy hour at the Watering Hole or Alcatraz. Also, only bud and bud light are available for happy hour and they are not 1/2 price anymore. I think they are $3 now.

The good news in all this is that well drinks are now included in happy hour. I don't know the details on the well drinks as I'm a beer drinker.

So here's the run down (times do change throughout the year):

IOA:
Enchanted Oak - 3-6 (?)
Backwater BAr - 3-7 (?)

US:
Finnegans - 3-7 (?)
La Bamba - 3-6 (?)

I actually tried one of those coupons. They also pass out little cards that are the same. The thing is, two people must be present for the coupon to work. They won't give one person two drinks. So you'll need to bring a spouse with you when you try it.

We were at pat o'briens 2 nights ago. they had buy one get one free drinks all night, no coupon needed. hurricane drink is great! also they had dueling pianos that started at 8......
