Happy Easter!

I know not everyone can make it to the Fort for the holiday. We won't be there until June! Was curious to know if anyone was camping at other locations this beautiful weekend.

Our family is camping at the KOA in Luray, VA. It has been a very relaxing couple of days and are pleased that our travel trailer survived the winter and everything is functioning as it should. (still need to check the air conditioner--haven't had a reason to turn it on--only up to the low 60's this weekend), but the weather has been sunny and delightful!

Happy Easter! I love the Luray caverns, took my kids there a few years ago. Not camping this weekend, but visiting my Dad (who is 94) in North Carolina. Won't be at the Fort until Halloween. Have a great weekend!

Working today...

Love Luray caverns and thought the organ was neat. Planning on getting back up there in the next few years and camp Shenandoah National Park.

We are at a beautiful county park outside of Washington, DC where the cherry blossoms are in bloom - very nice

We'll be back at the Fort in January of 2015.

We usually camp Easter Weekend and were planning on being at Little Pine State Park in PA this weekend but my wife needed gall bladder surgery last week so we had to cancel. Hope you had a great weekend.

We spent the week at American Heritage RV Park in Williamsburg VA. We had a great week of visits to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. And lots of fun around the campfire as well!

Back to the Fort in November.
