I switched us to a POR royal room this morning from OKW...kids are so excited!

Since it's a brand new resort, I doubt they need discounts to fill rooms.

Actually what it says in the offer is, "Ask about other great rates for stays most nights 2/24 - 3/5/2014", which to me doesn't necessarily sound like a discount. According to the crowd calendars on easyWDW, those dates have lower rates then the dates just before and after them (which are peak rate), so maybe that's what that sentence refers to.

We changed from POFQ to CB today.

I just changed my reservation from POR - standard room to POR-Garden View and saved $286. The room discount and the free day ticket were both included. I called on the phone around 10am and got through in a couple of minutes. It appears that the Standard View rooms at POR were not discounted. Good luck, everyone.

I just called on my lunch and only waited 2 minutes on hold.

I called about Port Orleans Riverside. I didn't realize it on the phone, but he only gave me options for preferred or garden view rooms in Alligator Bayou (we have 5 people). Does anyone know if all of the standard rooms there are not available now? I had searched standard as late as last Friday and they were coming up on the website, but now nothing comes up?

I know for my dates there are no standard rooms or river view in AB just preferred and garden. My dates are May 24-June 2.

I had a Little Mermaid room/tickets booked for our early May trip. I switched to All Star Sports and have the room/tickets AND regular dining plan for $40 more than I was paying for LM room!! So excited!!!!

we decided to book All Star SPorts too...our son and daughter in law and two munchkins ...perferred rooms and we save 220 dollars with the room discount...

We will be going the end of April into the first week of May and I am so ready after all this snow and ice and below zero...
