You just beat me to it! I went to go Google something and couldn't figure out what their logo was supposed to be celebrating when I remembered it was Chinese New Year today. My first thought? I have to post it on the DIS!!! Low and behold, you beat me to it.

Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday we decided to go into Manhattan for the day, and went down to Chinatown - we couldn't figure out what was going on - Chinese New Year!

We celebrate! We get Chinese food and put up a few decorations. We do Lucky Money envelopes for the kids. Disney Dollars, of course! It's a loose celebration with just the four of us, but we do mark the day.

Went out last night with SIL and family. She is Chinese & we had a feast. I gave her a fruit basket with oranges & tangerines.

We are inviting over some friends. The house is decorated. Just pulled out of the oven a simplified moon cakes. I'm cooking chinese noodles for long life, whole 5 spice chicken for good luck, beef and broccoli cause I like it, lettuce wraps more good luck. Happy Year of the Dog

I believe 1970 was also the year of the dog so that would make me one. And I was thinking Mexican for lunch, now I may have to get some Chinese. Does Mongolian Beef count?
