HAPPY BIRTHDAY WDW & Epcot!!!!!

Just couldn't to let this, one of the most important days of our calendar, go by without saying happy birthday! After all, it it weren't for WDW, we'd have to find something else to pass the time every day!

In honor of this day, here is an excerpt of Roy Disney's speech from the opening ceremony:

"May Walt Disney World bring joy and inspiration, a Magic Kingdom, where the young at heart of all ages can laugh and play and learn, together."

Happy birthday to the MK in 1971 & EPCOT Center (now Epcot) in 1982!! Strike up the band and let the party begin!!!

Thanks for the thoughts. As you know, I live in Houston, but my parents live near Beaumont (nearer to Orange actually), and my sister lives near NO,LA. So, we're all making preparations for Dear Lili. Ugh.
But that's not getting in the way of my celebratin' !! I just picked up my vanity license plates this morning... I can't wait to post pictures... they say "LUVWDW."
I think I'll drink a Hurricane to commemorate the occasion!
