Happy Birthday Canada

Sounds like everyone had a great Canada Day! We decided to go tenting with the daughter and her boyfriend - even though we have a house on wheels ( camper ) that is not ready to move a wheel and hasn't for a few years as it's parked out at the family lake lot. We went to a small lake in the foothills of the Rockies in Northern Alberta that was off grid with no cell service. It was a great quiet, relaxing time. Reconnecting with nature, fishing for trout and hiking. It was a great way to spend Canada Day enjoying some of the great scenery that we have!!!!

While doing a google image search for something i came across this gem from the EPCOT twitter feed!

Hope everyone had a great Canada Day! We went to the annual Firemans pancake breakfast, then had friends over for an afternoon BBQ, and in the evening a friend and I went to the local park for the free Trooper concert!

Trooper? Nice!

My niece, nephew and I grabbed our buckets and did a little crayfish hunting in the creek. We got caught in a downpour/storm out of nowhere and instead of bailing we just threw our hands in the air and started singing in the rain. Actually singing Singing in the Rain.
We're cool like that :cool1:

Luckily the rain passed and we were able to watch our local fireworks as well as stream the live feed from Ottawa. What a show!
