Ah I remember your wedding as if it was - 30 years ago. ( evil brat grin )
Mom made your dress, sewed over her finger, she made your hat, it collapsed, my exfriend Betsy sang, DBIL took the photos, DH thought you were lost, and you ran to the potty as the first bridesmaid started down the aisle.

And your cake napkins said "Duck and Pooh" - I thought it was directions, not names.

No secrets here sister dear!!!

Ummm - I only wish it was my birthday. Those are my kids in my signature - taken 6 yrs ago. So while I got married young, I wasn't 6. LOL

But we could all pretend, couldn't we? And my DSis, mssocks, is older than 30!

It's her 30th wedding anniversary. However, her birthday is in June in about three weeks. She's soooooo much older than I !!!!


I usually stay away from this part of the DIS to give her privacy but I thought she would get a kick out of a "hidden" card.

Thanks everyone!

We had a lovely anniversary (for those of you still wondering which it was. ) We got to attend DD's band concert. We'd intended to go out for dinner, but the director told them today that they had to be at the school by 6pm for the 7pm concert. And the band didn't play until after the orchestra, the chamber ensemble & the jazz band. We just got home 5 minutes ago & DD has to be back at the school by 6:30 for a field trip tomorrow. (Can we say "excellent planning"?? NOT!) At least the bands were extremely good! Too bad I can't say the same for the orchestra.

JudithM - I figure I "owe" my sister since she's the one who told me about the DIS in the first place back when we were looking for "codes" for cheap rooms at AKL in '01. So I guess I can take a little ribbing. It seems like a fair trade for all the friends I've found here!

Well, I was so surprised to hear from my friend from MS that it completely left my mind - what's left of it.

As for how old I am....let's just say that 30 is a distant memory!
So is 40 for that matter.
