On the Disney site, I cannot find where you can sign up for the dessert party with sitting on the grass in the hub rather than being in Tomorrowland Terrance.

Have they stopped this option?

And with HEA,you DEFINITELY want the Plaza Party and not the Terrace Party!

We always love plaza viewing. My one suggestion is to bring something to sit on. Every time we've sat on the astrograss, it's always felt damp for some reason despite no rain all day .
We now always bring something to sit on. Maybe the "grass" gets hosed off to tidy it up prior to the park opening for the day and just holds some residual moisture into late evening. Either way you'll have a great view.

We did the Dessert Party with Garden Viewing for Wishes and OMG - best money we spent. The dessert part was fun, and we enjoyed it, but the garden viewing location is fantastic! Its not crowded either, so you can spread out a little and relax on the 'grass'. The grass is a little itchy, and I agree with Flynnismine that it was a little damp feeling. But the view cannot be beat! And you don't have to sit there for hours saving your spot!
