Mouseplanet.com has a wonderful guide called "The Happiest Potties on Earth" that is a rating system for the potties at Disneyland and California Adventure. I have copied the guide out onto index cards and carry the cards with me when we go to DL. They are very useful and have helped me to always know where the most "acceptable" restrooms are located. I have been searching the Internet for something similar for WDW and haven't found it. At this point, I'm assuming that it doesn't exist so have decided to begin compiling my own.

Please share the location of your favorite potties in the parks at WDW. I am primarily looking for the ones that appear to be the brightest, most well-kept and have the shortest lines. Alternately, please provide information about the potties that you try to avoid.

I will happily compile the information and share it with anyone who would like to have. BTW, I know this seems obsessive in terms of planning but I am very particular about the public restroom facilities that I use and would like to have some knowledge going in.

Thanks in advance!!

Hmmm the best:
Enchanted Grove
one across from Small World

Worst:
The one by Pinnochio's Village Haus(they stink! and there's a reason)

I can't remember specific restrooms from our last trip (in 2000), but I do remember a tip I picked up from this board back then. It has come in handy in the intervening years everywhere that I encounter automatic flushing toilets. I pull off about six inches of toilet paper. I sort of lick the "clean" end (the one that I tore off from the roll) and stick it on the metal plate or wall behind the toilet, so it hangs down and covers the sensor. (If the TP is very thin, I double it.) Then I can sit on the toilet (after cleaning and drying the seat if necessary) for as long as I want - wiggle around and dig through my backpack, etc. - without being startled by an unexpected flush before I'm finished. When I am finished and am ready to leave the stall, I simply reach back and remove the toilet paper from the wall, drop it in the bowl, and go on my merry way, as the toilet flushes behind me.

To help you get started, there was a thread on the best WDW washrooms a while back, complete with photos! you may want to do a search for it - I believe that it went on for awhile.

I was so disappointed to confirm in April that the 1970's style ladies lounge at the Poly main building has been replaced with a gift shop. (And a gift shop was replaced with washrooms there - go figure!)

Since we are on the potty subject,I wish Disney would put bigger signs that have the location of the restrooms. I had to go really bad last year when I was in Liberty Square couldn't find a restroom sign and ended up using a restroom in Fantasyland that a very nice CM directed me to.

The Fantasyland bathroom was not the best. I went there in the middle of the afternoon and it was right before the parade so that might have something to do with it. There were stalls without TP,towels on the floor, and a sink that was clogged with who only knows what.

Which may I mention ladies, clean up after yourselves! The Disney CMs who take care of the restrooms deserve better!!!

There are no bathrooms in Liberty Square. We found this out on the KTTK tour this past September. The closest bathroom in on the Fantsyland side of the Columbia Harbor House Restaraunt (2nd floor!). If I remember correctly it had to do with the fact that during colonial times they would just dump thier "waste" into the street (I think this is also way they created Liberty Square without curbs). Check it out next time you are there.

I always use the one by Columbia Harbour House.(Not the one upstairs as mentioned above, but the one around the corner from it.) One night I used one by the City Hall building that was really nice...and VERY well air conditioned. One of the nicest ones.

our fave mk potty is the "family" potty in toontown... i could take two kids in w/me, do all of our business w/out having to worry where one or the other is... all this while dh got us cold drinks (so we could answer the call of "I gotta go" an hour later! LOL!) :)

for
RESORT bathrooms i love the one in the beach club, over by ariels and by the bar. whenever we eat at beaches & cream this is always a stop. it is always cool and empty and spotless. and they have real towels (washcloths) to dry your hands off with, then they get tossed into a wicker basket.

The potties within the Baby Services stations are the best! All of the bathrooms have changing tables, but these stations are really great. And the bathrooms are really nice. I don't have infant DGDs anymore, but I still use this facility. There's one in each of the four parks.

Worst ones in Animal Kingdom are next to the exit of Kali River Rapids. Most people are soaking wet from the ride and the floor was covered in mud pretty much.

You can also do this with post it notes. A lot of mothers do this so that the flushing does not scare the little ones.

We thought that the real towels in the bathroom at the Beach Club were the neatest thing (no we don't get out much). They also have these in the bathroom at the Yaught Club (sp?) and the Boardwalk (in the lobby).

As for best in park bathrooms...MK: the one near City Hall
EPCOT: Near Test Track
Animal Kingdom: In Pizzafarri

I agree that the Kali bathrooms are one of the bad ones in WDW. You get in there and it's all muddy and everyone's trying to get to the dryers to get dry.
Another bad one is Pete's Garage in Toontown. In has a terrible odor and is not very clean.
The best potties in my opinion are at the resorts. Boardwalk and Beach Club are extremely nice.

1) We also have our favorite potties.
2) However, they seem to the the nearest when we need one.
3) Beyond that, I am not "into" potties.
4) It has been a long time since I vacationed based upon there potties.
