Ok, This Sounds like a Stupid question ... but A lot of People Seem to make the Mistake of calling the Magic Kingdom in Orlando " The Happiest Place On Earth" But.. Technicallly, That is Accually DisneyLand in California . Not Orlando .
I think , Disney World is " Where Dreams Come True " . Someone can correct me if im wrong im not really sure?

Many associate "The Happiest Place On Earth" with any Disney park.

The subtile distinction of slogans for each entity is something those "in a higher state of Disney consciousness" can ponder.

Zen Disney:thumbsup2

And, as I recall, "Disney parks: Where dreams come true." was a national ad slogan for all the Disney parks in a previous campaign.

:thumbsup2 We call any and ALL the Disney parks "The Happiest Place on Earth".

I looked into it and the Disney website still reads ...

" Disney Parks - Where Dreams Come True "

IIRC,"technically" Disneyland Resort is "The Happiest Place on Earth" and Walt Disney World Resort is "The Most Magical Place on Earth".:)

If you want to get really nitty gritty, obsessively technical about it:

  • Disneyland Park in California is "The Happiest Place On Earth"
  • Magic Kingdom Park in Florida is "The Most Magical Place On Earth"
  • Walt Disney World as a whole is "The Vacation Kingdom of the World"
:)

This is important information! Thanks for an official clarification! :surfweb:

I think the "happiest place. . ." tagline applies to both. The only difference I remember was during the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland, they called Disneyland's "The Happiest Homecoming. . ." while WDW used "Happiest Celebration. . ."

Otherwise, both have used Where Dreams Come True and are now using the Celebrate Today theme.

I think it is all Disney parks. I imagine the slogan was initially created when Disney Land in California opened but then Disney World was opened after. Where Dreams Come True was last years slogan for the promotion they had and it is still around and probably will stick. Whenever we have gone to Disney World we see things all over the place that say The Happiest Place on Earth.

I cannot believe you guys are actually arguing about this..its hilarious!!! Reminds me of the monty python sketch about the man who wants to buy an argument!!

The Happiest Place on Earth can be applied to any Disney theme park in my opinion. Disney World is not the only place "Where Dreams Come True". See Disney is sneaky by saying that all disney parks are Where Dreams Come True. It appears so on some of the merchandise and on some commercials.

=)

No, it doesn't.

:goodvibes

For all intensive purposes,

Walt Disney World is "where dreams come true".

Disneyland is "the happiest place on earth"

All merchandise in the parks reflects this. Even the big sign at Disney World says "Where dreams come true".

Plus, you can't have two happiest places on earth. There can only be one :goodvibes

But wait, there's more... :)

"Where Dreams Come True" is the current national ad slogan for all the Disney parks.

It can be found on the Theme Parks home page-

This site is a gateway to all of the Disney parks including Disneyland.

http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/index?name=HomePage

When you go there, a video commercial using the line, both audio and video, will play.

Here are some grabs from the site, as well.

That's likely why the slogan is featured on WDW signage and merchandise
(the line is likely featured at all of the Disney parks.)

Hey, it's Disney.
Disney can do anything! ;)

That is also how they are getting away with using and selling the year of a million dreams merchandise. They've applied it as an underlying theme just like Where the Magic Lives. Same logo as Where Dreams come True for the new theme, just with balloons lol.

personally i don't think it is PC to impose any slogans, feeling, thoughts, inuendos, suggestions, statements, facts or otherwise upon other posters

just being a snarky poster! thought it might get my hand slapped or the thread closed:rotfl2:

honestly, for our family its our own slogan, "hippity, hoppity, happity", that's how we feel walking down Mainstreet (or is it UP Mainstreet?) to the castle. we use that saying a lot with our DS's (3&8) when telling them things like, "ge in the van" or "climb into bed" or "brush your teeth" or "wash your hands". Basically anything that kids like to dilly dally with. That saying always puts a smile on their face and we figure humor and sillyness beats crankiness and unhappiness. Of course when they get too far out of line, the beatings begin (just kidding):lmao:
