Where can I find the special dessert in commemoration of the Happiest Celebration? I read there is a chocolate Cinderella slipper you can order. I've checked menus, especially at the Grand Floridian, but it's not listed. Does anyone know anything about this, where you can get it, or have a picture to further kick my taste buds into overdrive? ;)

This dessert is found at Cinderella's Castle. A friend of mine had it. It was pretty cute.

I got it in September and it was really tasty. Here is two pics:

It was never offered in dark or milk chocolate; only in white chocolate. As far as I know, it is no longer available at the Castle anymore. It's not on the menu any longer.

It is still available to order ahead of time at the GF. You would have to be eating in one of their restaurants or staying there to order it. It's $14.

Below is the one I ordered to arrive at dessert time at the 1900 Park Fare dinner:

I preordered one when we ate at CRT for dinner in Dec. I would like to order another one. I wonder if you can get one to go?

Yesterday, I made an ADR for dinner at CRT for 1/24. I asked the CM I spoke with in dining if I could still order the Cinderella slipper dessert. I am attending a convention, and the friend I'm going with has never been to WDW. I wanted to get this for her as a special treat. Anyway, the CM couldn't find any info, but he gave me this number to call: 407-824-7091. When I called, they answered Magic Kingdom dining operations, or something like that. When I asked about ordering the slipper, she confirmed my ADR in their system. Then she asked if it was a special occassion, such as birthday or anniversary. She said she didn't need a credit card (I did have to give a cc# when ordering these at GF before). The cost will just be added to our dinner.

So, looks like they are still available on a pre-order basis.

Hope this helps!

Actually they did do a milk chocolate version, but it wasn't for a very long time and it was pretty elusive, if I do recall.. I believe you had to special order it from the GF Bakery..

Yep, I saw that picture and I even posted a THREAD about the Happiest Celebration on Earth desserts being offered around WDW last Spring, with descriptions and photos (and the above photo included), BUT not one person I know of anywhere ever got the milk chocolate version at CRT or GF or anywhere else.

Did you actually get one at GF yourself?

How much is it to order from crt? we were so disappointed not to get one in september! My dinner is booked for april and i wonder if the hush hush individual dessert will be the slipper??? Cm told me lunch will be a blueberry cobbler served family style and the dinner has an individual dessert but everyone will get the same one but they're not disclosing what that will be! :confused3

When I preordered my slipper dessert the end of November for our 12/20 visit to CRT, I was told it would cost $12 something, but when we got the bill on 12/20 it was listed as $10.20. Now, mine did not have the angel food cake pillow, so that may have been the reason it was less expensive. Here's a link to my dining review and a photo of the slipper I had.

So if I ate at one of the table service restaurants for lunch at the GF - such as the Garden View Lounge - I could call ahead and pre-order one? I'd just love to try with - especially with all those berries. Yum!

Thanks for the pix and the replies, by the way!

Actually, I posted what it looks like at the Grand Floridian in post #4. It did not come with all those different berries that you can see in the CRT slipper dessert photo. Only came with 4 Rasberries.

But yes, you can call GF and ask to talk to the bakery and arrange to have it for dessert at one of their restaurants.

How far in advance must one pre-order this special dessert? Should it be done before we arrive or do they only need a few days notice?

Thanks

Just to clarify, there are berries (raspberries) on this one, the other one has all those strawberries. I love the raspberries!

We are doing 1900 PF for dinner....how far in advance can you order this?? Do you tell them your ADR confirmation#? Thanks!

The Slipper Dessert is at Cinderella's Royal Table and I don't think it's on the menu, you have to ask your server for it....it is FABULOUS!!!!

I have had the one at the GF and the one at CRT (the pic I posted in post #4 was the slipper from the CRT dessert menu in September 05). I would call (GF Bakery) and order the slipper 1-2 weeks ahead of time. When I ordered my slipper at the GF they did ask for my ADR confirmation number and a credit card number. Hopefully, that was not too confusing :)

A friend of mine ordered these as a supplimental deserts for her DLR wedding. They were a niced touch to the meal.
