I did a search and didn't come up w/ much. Does anyone know how long this will run? And are they going to remove the things they brought in for the celebration? ie...
Cindercelbration
Soarin'
LMA
Decorations on castle
I will be heading back to WDW 10/1 and was wondering if everything will still be there? Thanks!

well i'm pretty sure it started last May, and i think it will go until this May.

as for the attractions the only one i think they will get rid of is Cinderellabration, but i'm not positive(although i think i'm the only person here who actually liked it lol). but the other rides were actually built so i'm sure they won't waste their time spent and take them back down. i think they'll still keep the decorations on the castle as well.

although, the gold mickey ears may be gone by the time you get there.

No disrespect intended to LilIrish Chick, but the celebration is listed as an 18-month celebration. According to the other threads, the HCOE will end at the end of September, the end of October, or the end of the year!

Disney has not formally announced the end date yet.

The word is, as LilIrish Chick said, that Cinderellabration will be going. Soarin' and LMA are definitely staying. No answer as to when/if the castle decorations will be coming down, although I would assume they will come down at the end of the HCOE.

Yes....I heard that it will end Sep. 30 (not sure if the World will change the date) but idk about the attractions.....we'll have to wait and see!

It's basically what other posters said. The celebration will end in the fall (the exact date hasn't been released yet). Cinderellabration will most likely end after the celebration (again, no official word on that). LMA and Soarin will stay (although I have heard that the movie for Soarin may change). The castle decorations will probably come down after the celebration.

Will the free transportation to the airport change?

DME is free until the end of the year and then they will start charging for it.

Thanks for your help. I hope Cindercelabration is still there one day while were there as it is DD Favorite thing (besides Peter Pan). She will be so disappointed if it's not.
Also thanks for the heads up on DME. I didn't realize it was a free thing for the celebration and then they will charge for it. I'll still use it though if the price is the same as Mears was which I would think it would be.

These resort wide celebrations usually last for 18 months.

I heard it ends this Sept. The decorations on the castle will come downI believe, but Soarin' will stay! I'm really not sure if they'll stop the Cinderellabration show after the Celebration but it's likely. Anyways i'm sooo glad I got to go before the HAPPIEST CELEBRATION ON EARTH ENDED!

From what I have heard, the Happiest Celebration will end September 30 this year....the rides will more than likely stay, but the castle decorations will come down and Cinderellabration will end.

I asked a CM re: Soarin' and was told the ride will stay but they will probably change the movie eventually, they didn't know when or to what. I dunno about the rest of the stuff other than it was my understanding the celebration was for 18 mos, but there was no definite end date at the time I asked (Spring Break 2005).
