My FH was browsing last night and discovered that HANSON will be at epcot when we are... this news has turned me into a 13 year old girl again!!! has anyone seen bands perform as part of the food and wine festival? is there any chance of meeting them afterwards?

I've passed by when Hanson performed during F&W in the past and was stunned to see that those young ladies grew up into men. Also stunned by the number of crazed fans they have. Had no idea... but can't tell if you if they did a M&G after or anything.

if your lucky they might hang around a bit, etc I actually went around WS with some of the guys in BBVD who were taking there nightly drink around the world tour, lol

They were there last year while I was....so I understand the turning into a 13 year old girl thing.

I took my 3 month old baby, who fell asleep during the concert, so we left promptly after they finished their set for the first show of that night, so I can't answer the M&G part. They didn't announce anything, but I imagine you might be able to "bump into them" at some point. I expect its also possible that you could bump into them on a different day during your trip, because I imagine they use it as an opportunity to vacation at Disney with their families.

The show was good. They played some of their newer stuff along with the old favorites. MmmBop was particularly amusing, because their voices are much deeper now.

I was even considering changing my dates when I read they were going to be there. Still a huge fan.

I didn't realise they were still making music! Don't hear much from them down in Oz! So excited! it even fell on a night we were planning to be at epcot anyway!!

I'm a huge fan also. The last 2 years I've gone over Halloween (even though I could have moved my trip back a week and seen them). Wouldn't you know that this is the year we decided NOT to go over Halloween. :( I can't complain, I've seen them more than a few times, and I'm catching another show this tour.

They don't do meet and greets at the shows, but if you're lucky you might see them around the parks while they're at Disney! I saw them at the attraction I was working at when they played last year. Also, hardcore fans line up for the shows at park open so if you're trying to get a good spot, be aware of this!

Some of the groups have big followings that line up before the shows. If you want to be in one of the front rows, I would suggest doing that.
As for M&G, don't expect that, most don't do it. You would have a better chance at one of the earlier shows - as after the last one they are quick to kick you out of that area in preperation for Illuminations.

Where did you find the dates and times for the performers?

That's sweet!
Our little 9 mo old LOVES their "Give a Little" song. We downloaded the video from iTunes and stream it over our appleTV. She lights up whenever we turn it on and her little feet start kicking all over the place. It's a trip!
I think at 9 months, she's already got the 'hots' for the singer. Oh noes!

I'm a HUGE fan (have been for 14 years now) and when I saw they were going to be there over Halloween (my fave holiday), I just about kicked myself for going in May. Here's hoping they'll do this again and again.

My daughter is named Lucy after one of their songs :)

I am going to have to keep my eagle eye out!!

Years ago I was in EPCOT with my then 19 yr. old DS and to my JOY, Gary Puckett(from the Union Gap!) was performing. I ran down the aisle to join all the other middle-aged women who were standing on their seats and clapping and whooping it up. My poor son was standing there stunned. I don't think he'll ever recover. Should I spring for some therapy, or just let him be? :thumbsup2

So we were originally going in September but then decided to change it to December. My husbands work doesn't give vacations in December :( So now we have changed it to October. I will be there when Hanson is there. I am so excited. :)

How early should you get to the shows? I noticed on the hanson website it gave times of shows at 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45pm

They live in my town- they are grown with kids...trips me out a little.
However, my kids are their fans- I'm a tad bit older than they are.

Hanson and Disney. My two favorite things! Good thing I can't go because my mind might explode :)

I saw them post a tweet about this a few weeks ago, i wanted to marry Zac like, 13 years ago. LOL I asked the DBF if we could go. He said "absolutely... not." So I bout the best friend an annual pass for her birthday ;) LOL :thumbsup2
