Hannah Montana tickets poll

I wasn't successful with the pre-sale or the general sale.
I signed up DD for a "mileyworld" membership for the presale code, opened an account on ticketmaster, was on-line 1/2 hour before the tickets went on sale...refreshed, etc.
NO TICKETS AVAILABLE.
I will not pay the outrageous prices now being charged for tickets. So...unfortunately, my DD will not be seeing Hannah Montana in concert.

It's a disgrace, isn't it. My DD really wants to go too. I think there are little girls everywhere that are sad over this.

We were also unsuccessful. We tried to get tickets for Chicago both during the pre-sale and when they went on sale to the public. We were very disappointed. Between all of my family members, we had 6 phones going and also were trying on-line. We will not be going through a broker!

I have tried to get them on e-bay and get this. I was outbid by a broker. They are buying Tickets on e-bay to sell. It is crazy.

I was able to get 2 tickets during the pre-sale. I was online right at 10AM. I took the first seats I was offered, I just wanted tickets, but they are supposed to be decent seats. I have since found out how lucky I was to get tickets here in Memphis, even during the presale.

We failed at presale, and general public sale BIL ended up paying $450 for 2 off of ebay.

I'm really annoyed that I joined mileyworld (yuck) and still didn't get presale tics. I logged on to her site and the freaking thing was totally frozen for over half an hour. By the time I could connect, presale tix were all gone. What a waste of good $$.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones that actually got really good seats (4) all together for the Charlotte NC show during the presale. I did start trying to get the tickets about 1 minute before 10:00am per my computers clock.

I really do think that Disney should let there be two shows at each location. The concerts (Cheetah Girls, Hilary Duff, etc..) are not very long at all. I do realize that Miley is young, but her fans are what keep her show going. I think Disney could do more to help satisfy her fans and reduce so many bad feelings her fans currently have.

I have to add that my daughter wants to see the Jonas Brothers more than Miley at this point (she is 13) but we did see Miley with the Cheetah Girls last year and she loved the concert. However, it did not last very long for the price of the ticket IMO!

I feel the same. We were not successful i presale or regular sale. It is such a scam. I don't know why they even offer the presale except to make more money for the fan club. The percent that actually gets the tickets in places is ridiculous.

Sounds like me. I also was on ticketmaster before sale started for both presale and regular, as well as friends trying too. None of us got tickets. It seems most people for the Rosemont show didn't get anything.

It seems as though I have the Opposite problem as all of you! I WAS able to get tickets to the St. Louis concert through the presale. I surprised my DD(8) with them and she does not want to go ! She does hate loud noises and a lot of comotion, but I thought for sure she'd love it! Some times I just don't get her . Anyway I've checked with some of her friends' moms, and it seems like no one is that interested in paying that much for the tickets(even at face value). I have 4 seats which are pretty good, but I can't see making my DD go when she's not going to enjoy it very much. I guess I should have asked her first, but I was trying to be the "cool" mom . Go figure!Maybe I'll just put them on E-Bay, but I've never done that before either!

I am sure you will have no problem finding someone who would love those tickets! If my DD (also 8) didn't have softball tournaments for the two weekeneds prior to this, I would have offered to buy them from you since we struck out with tickets for both sales here in Chicago. But I think another road trip would be too much.

I have an issue with this pre-sale for fan club members only though...I mean think of it, we tell our children that we are all created equal right? And then here you go signing up on this Miley site for an additional $25- which gives you special access. What does this teach our children? That only members get special treatment.
We can afford the additional expense, but that is not what this is about. Ms. Cyrus is probably making heaps of money with this concert tour, but that doesn't seem to be enough for her. Now she is saying for those lucky people who can afford to be club members pay up and I'll let you buy a select few , poorly located tickets before all the other folk'
Really!!!! Perhaps I'm taking this all too seriously but as a matter of principle I will simply try tickets that go on sale Saturday to the general public. If I get them great, if not, it's not a bad lesson to show our kids that they can't get everything in life?!

Yep, you are taking it to seriously Almost every band/singer has a paid fan club and most offer pre-sale tickets. its not a new thing. Her club is $30 to join and there are disclamer all over it saying due to high demand they are not guaranteeing tickets to pre-sale members.

What kids should be bough is about the greedy bookers that are out there snatching them all up. With all the problems with tickets that seem to go straight to the brokers I wouldn't be surprised to see some twisty story come out int he weeks to come.

I got mine by going to our local Ticketmaster and standing in line. I got there at 6:00 am and was able to get our tickets. There were 10 people in front of me and several behind me. 2 people behind me got theirs and then they were sold out. The guy was really nice, and he was printing tickets as fast as he could, but by 10:20 they were gone. He probally sold about 50 tix. He didn't ask us what price level we wanted, at 10:00 a.m. he just started printing best available. If he had waited to ask, I don't think I would have gotten tickets. At first he was printing 4 at time, then it would only let him do 2 at a time. I think everyone there was getting 4. I had friends at home trying to get them online and on the phone and they were not able to get through to get tickets. Good luck to everyone, I'm sending pixie dust

Yes, you are taking this too seriously. Membership has its privileges, as the commercial says, and sometimes you have to pay for membership. I'm sure you don't want to raise an entitled child who thinks she should get to do everything the Girl Scouts do without paying her dues, for example.

well, since I was not able to get them through pres-sale today, I'm doing it a different way. I asked my brother to help me and he is talking to a press agent who knows someone who works at the Dunkin' center who can maybe help us out. Crossing my fingers, I hope so!! I told him backstage passes would be nice too!! LOL!!

I wasn't able to get them via presale or right at 10:00 for the Atlanta show. Tickets on Craigslist and Ebay are going for several hundred dollar a seat. I refuse to pay that much for a concert ticket. These brokers are committing highway robbery. If no one pays them that much, their prices will have to come down or they will be stuck with a bunch of Hannah tickets. I don't blame Disney or Miley, but I do think Ticketmaster is not doing everything right. By 10:01, tickets were sold out. That just can't be.

I am sorry that happned to you. I didnt go through the Mileyworld site. I figured it would be jammed up. I went directly to ticketmaster, logged in and I copied and pasted my presale code.

I didnt want my DD's to be sad over this so i didn't even tell them that tickets were going on sale. They have made mention of the concert, but i never said that it was coming around here. They are 6 and 7. I was lucky to get tix this AM, but i am still not telling them until the day of the concert in case something should happen.
