So from Club Cool we headed over to Soarin' to use our FP's and it was just as great this time! DT sighting again but he was taking a family on the ride. I know cause I stared the whole time. We left on a cloud and I passed on our Mission Space FP's to a group of guys outside because we wouldn't have a chance to use them. Off to our dinner resevations at Coral Reef! I was really excited to check out this restaurant because I knew the tank would keep them occupied plus I had my little surprise for Pierre.

I had spoken to Deb, who I think is the manager there, about a month or so before to try an arrange an anniversary sign to be put up for us. Unfortunatly all the slots were full but she suggested the personalized menu so I thought that was a pretty cool replacement and at least we could keep the copy. I love how it was decorated in the lobby, everything was really pretty! There seemed to be quite a few people hanging around inside so I checked in and was told they were running about 25 minutes late. We found a spot to sit on the floor and I gave the kids some paper and markers to use. They REALLY need a bar or something, ya know?!

The hosts taking people into the restaurant were SO quiet or just plain mumbly when they called peoples names, I swear! You could barely hear them and I BETTER not miss our name! Just to be sure I went up front to check and also make sure my menu was there. Good on both counts and about 5 mins later they were ready for us. We were taken in and all wowed by the tank.

It has a nice atmosphere, good lighting but SLIGHTLY on the noisy side. Nothing irritating but I noticed it. Maybe it's because of the set-up? We have a first tier seating against the balcony so it made for some good tank viewing. Our waiter came over and handed us these
When opened this is what was inside
Pierre opened his up and looked for a second before the recognition hit him and he laughed. I snapped a picture really quick so I could capture his expression
I totally surprised him and it was great! The kids thought it was really cool too! But back to business. I need me a drink! I wanted to try the YOMD Glowtini so that's what I got. I thought I was taking a picture. Apparently not. It's all good!
Pierre got a drink called Octopus something and OH. MY. GOSH. One of the best drinks EVER! It was a cream or milk based frozen drink that had maybe Bailey's, chocolate liquer, strawberry liquer. Can't remember, desperately CARE to but, it was DELISH to the MAX! Jordan, if you go there find out and let me know! If I didn't have some free food to eat I'd be dining on these! Back to the food! I got the chilled shrimp with seaweed salad since I adore the seaweed. It was served in a martini glass, cute presentation, as I love me some martini's! I think Pierre got the New England cod cake and liked it. Bella got carrots and dip and Cooper had lobster bisque. He loves clam chowder so I kept telling him it was just like that. He didn't go for it. Pierre had some and said it wasn't very good so maybe Cooper knew what he was talking about?

I had already eaten chicken and mahi mahi this week so I wanted to try something different again and ordered myself the Alaskan King Crab legs. Plus they were the most expensive thing so.... I can't recall what Pierre had and the only thing I wrote in my notes were about the drinks. Shocker. You must think I'm a boozer but I really only had 1 drink every other meal. Until tomorrow. Here is a shot of the kids and the tank.
They were each given a fish

chart so they had fun looking for them and we saw the MOST enormous turtle in there! Holy cow that thing was huge. OH,OH,OH! I have to mention that not only were most of the tankside seats empty BUT no one even came down with a sign so I was REALLY annoyed by that! Divers were down there but they were just waving to everyone and pointing flashlights at us, which of course Bella and Cooper got a kick out of! About 45 minutes after we were there a whole crew of about 8 divers went past so I started thinking and figured it must be the Divequest thing that Merman had talked about. I just snuck another sip of Pierre's drink so I would feel better. He didn't want dessert but I wanted to try the Bailey's and Jack Daniel's mousse. It was worth it! So yummy but as with all of my courses I didn't finish it because there's nothing worse than eating till you are going to burst! The kids both got the icecream sundae's which were just okay. Time to leave! Cooper really wanted to do Nemo and Turtle Talk again but Bella didn't. She lost, we went. Why not? There was no wait and it was only next door so might as well! I agree with Cherbear on the fact that it's the longest que EVER! Can you imagine that being full of people?! Has anyone ever seen it full?!
We jump right on, a bunch of empty clamshells next to us and look for Nemo. From there the kids were eaten by Bruce
and then into Crush. They sat right up front and Pierre and I had a bench in front. Bella asked a question this time. "Do you have alot of friends and who are they?" Chaaaaa, he's got alot! Such a neat show!
When we left it was nearly 9 so off to CBR. I had to get some Hannah tickets in the morning so I must be primed and ready my friends! Oh, something I wanted to comment on about Epcot where I thought it was most noticible. The smooth cement is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous and a danger when wet. None of us actually fell but I slipped several times and was nervous walking when it was raining out.
