I went to the concert and we sat very close to the stage. I didn't see that exact thing happen, but I was amazed by how quick she changed costumes/personalities. Fooled me.

I went to the concert and we sat very close to the stage. I didn't see that exact thing happen, but I was amazed by how quick she changed costumes/personalities. Fooled me.

The Concert i went to the Jonas Brothers went on 3 more songs and I honestly dont think it was that big of a deal that she used a body double. One of the concerts I went to I was first row right in front of wear they pulled her backstage and She never even went back by that wall.

I was too exited so i was really paying attention to what was happening

The Jonas Brothers did sing 2 extra songs when she went to change after singing with them. To be honest what's the big deal. When she leaves her part of the song is really over and the back up singers take over. We didn't even notice anything when we went to the concert.

There was a little snippet about it this morning on the Today show or one of those news programs. Apparently some people are a bit mad about it. Until I saw the video on You Tube it never even occured to me that they did that. I just thought her wardrobe people were magicians .

I personally don't see the big deal about it. She only does it to change her clothes -- it's not like the other girl is out there singing several songs. Then I would have a problem with that.

I'm another one who see's no problem with this. I noticed this happened when we saw the concert last month. From the angle we were at, it was quite obvious that they switched for a couple minutes. I didn't think twice about it. Now all of a sudden its a big scandal?

I was at one of the concerts. I didn't notice. Just watched the video and have to agree that its no big deal. Not quite sure why they did it but who cares.

I agree with many of the posters. I don't see what the big deal is and it's annoying that people are making her out to be such a bad person because of a 30 second body double. Atleast she is a good role model for young girls. She isn't having mental breakdowns and lost underwear like Britney. She's not 16 and pregnant like Jamie-lynn and she's not in and out of rehab like Lindsey.

I was going to say something similar. At least when she makes her change she remembers to keep her underwear on. Let her have a brief body double; she's a positive role model for young girls which has been lacking lately.

I love Miley Cyrus! She is such a good role-model for my DD's and I do not see a thing wrong with her ahaving a body-double to change her outfit. Actors do it for stunts in movies all the time and noone says a thing LOL.

I think I would have a problem if her "people" were denying the claim. Every news report is stating that her people are confirming that is what happened and that it was done so she could change costumes.

Between this and her concert ticket issues, the poor girl can't get a break!

Look, the only real issue here is that little Miss Miley is spoiling things for the press. She isn't *doing anything*. I mean, she's singing and acting and touring but that's not enough! Where is the panty-less partying and underage drinking and throwing up on the paparazzi?

Since she so selfishly refuses to do anything untoward in public the poor media is *forced* to make mountains of molehills. This body double thing and the frou-frah over her slumber party are results of her absolute self-centered insistence on being a nice little girl raised with some self-respect and good manners.

Very unfeeling of her, really.

DH and I were discussing this and, frankly, we don't see the big deal either. Body doubles are used in live theater all the time. It's a very common technique to either let the actor change clothing or positions on the stage without interruption in the action.

If you're ever seen the stage version of "Phantom of the Opera," you probably noticed that they used several sets of doubles in the title song. When Phantom and Christine are singing "The Phantom of the Opera" and walking across the several catwalks, you see them disappear on one side of the stage and immediately reappear on the other side. I think I read that they use something like 3 or 4 sets of doubles to accomplish this while the "real" actors are off-stage singing. It creates a very cool effect.

we went to the concert and didnt really notice the switcharoo---and who cares anyway?? Its a show, we paid to be entertained and I totally understand the wanting to create the appearance of 2 seperate people, hannah and miley-- I think it was clever having a body double for a few minutes and then having hannah walk off and miley coming right out--

We had a great time when we went!
