The unique movie captures the fun and excitement of the nationwide sold-out concert tour featuring Montana/Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers.

My dd saw an ad for this on the Disney Channel and had to call me on my cellphone, she was so excited. I did not realize they were selling tickets this far in advance. How can you plan a movie visit that far in advance? I suppose it's not different than buying concert tickets in advance. I'll have to check it out.

ARGH! here we go again. the movei is only in theaters for 1 WEEK and you can only buy tickets ONLINE?!

sorry to shout but man i hope this does not cause problems.

Anyone have any luck finding a list of cities and theaters? I can find it on one of my local theater chain sites, but it's not a theater I like to go to.

I have been searching too and no luck so far. Hopefully on Sunday, but i wantd to add if any theater by you had either the Nightmare before Christmas in 3D or Beowulf, they are able to have the Hannah Montana Concert/movie.

A normal theater that has never shown a 3d movie will not be able to accomodate it.

I'm sorry, but this is insane! I do like the idea of releasing the movie in the theaters, so that all those who couldn't get tickets can at least see it.. however, 1 week hardly seems like enough time, and to sell tickets online again.. well I'm sensing these tickets will end up being scalped too! Like another poster said, "Here we go again!" Anyone else think $15 is a bit high for a movie ticket?

Found this link online at Disney: Hannah Montana 3D movie

How are you finding it in theatres near you? I am looking in Minnesota and I can find nothing! My DD was so disappointed when we missed the concert, there is no way she will let me miss this!

OOPS, I thought that Friday was the 1st...guess I will stay up late on Friday with hopes that the one Regal theatre here in MN is going to carry it!

I know you are south, that site shows the Eagan Regal will have it. Not sure if you are anywhere near Inver Grover Heights, but if you go to www.kerasotes.com they have an ad for it on their main page. I tried AMC as the one in Maple Grove shows the Nightmare Before Christmas, but it pulls up nothing so far. But it didn't show anything in advance for that movie on their site either.

I am confused...Sat. is Dec. 1st...so do they go on sale Sat. Morning at 12:01? On the website it says 3 days 2 hours and 15 mins...would that be Sun morning at 12:01am? Where are the tickets ordered from...the Disney website or from the actual theater website? Are they only playing at Regal Cinemas?

$15 is a little high but not that out of line. 3D movie tickets are always higher than regular, and this looks like it's using some really cool technology to film so they must have to charge a little more. Imax tickets are really pricey too these days.

That is a very good question. I didn't think about that, but 3 days and 2 hours would be Sunday morning, December 2nd. I would still check it out Saturday. Even weirder www.kerasotes.com says on sale December 1st, but when you click on it, it says Friday, which is still November.

I want to get these, but I am NOT getting up at midnight for it.

Ok, I hope those are not all the theaters! There are none in Arizona at all@ My dd is so upset about not getting to go to the concert and then she saw the ad on radio disney.com and got so excited. She's now crying since we looked thru the list of theaters and there isn't even one for Phoenix.

She asked if we could get concert tickets for another city. Uh.... they are all sold out everywhere. Besides we can't really fly to another city just for a concert even if there were tickets available.

All I can do is hope there are more theaters that aren't listed.

I don't think it is all of the theaters because our local Rave theater has a sign up that they will be showing it, and they aren't on the list on that link. Our city isn't even on the link, so you may be in luck.

Does anybody have an idea where you can purchase the tickets...is it only through the Disney website?

It opens in the Rave Theater in Montgomery, Alabama Feb 1 and runs through Feb 6. It looks like you can already buy tickets- I got the the finalization part and didn't click b/c I'm undecided yet- that is so far to plan to go to the movie theater- especially at $15/ person!
I was really hoping they'd release a dvd with a concert or something- guess they figure they'll get more money this way and then release one?
I know I'll end up going- dd8 will demand it I'm sure...

Anyone find the complete list of theatres or know how to find one in CT??

Hi Erika!!!!!!!!

So it will be just as hard to watch the movie as it is to go to the concert it sounds like!! Joy
