Hannah Montana 2 days away & DD has 103 fever

HELP!!! We have tickets to Hannah Montana in 2 days and my DD has just come down with an awful virus. She has gone to the dr. but shows no signs of getting better by the concert. She is running a fever of 103 and I am really freaking out. She was so excited about this, but she has even said she doesn't feel like going. It's just a concert. Her health is the most important thing, but she had her heart set on this.

I wouldn't panic yet - the concert is still two days away. Don't make any decision until the day of the concert. If by then she can manage a few comfortable hours with the help of some Tylenol or Advil, by all means take her to the concert. If she is still really miserable you will know by then that you are dealing with something really serious and she should stay home.

And I wouldn't worry that I was taking her somewhere sick, either. This isn't a Saturday afternoon movie - it's the Hannah Montana concert. There are going to be hundreds of kids at that concert who are either just coming down with something, actively fighting something, or have been exposed to something and not showing symptoms yet. It's silly to think your daughter's virus will have any real impact on the other concert-goers. It's just a fact of life this time of year.

I hate when my DD has a fever! I feel so sorry for her!

Take heart! Two days is a long time in kid years. LOL. The day of the concert a little Pepsi and Advil will go a long way.

I am going in 2 days too!! In cincinatti!! Is that when you are going?? I think that you should take her because its a once in a lifetime opertunity. The only way you shouldnt take her is if she is throghing up. and there will be alot of kids who are sick there too. I am not sick but i will probably end up getting sick from going.lol. But i think you should take her because she will regret missing it
