I have a lot more pictures but I'm not going to bore you with them. But I do have an awesome story about Hank today.

They gave Hank and Mackenzie a bunch of balloons that they had at the party and Hank asked me when we pulled in to the driveway if they were filled with hellium. I told him that they were and he said cool I have an idea!!! I said let me guess you want to suck the hellium out and change your voice. He said nope. (ok here is where you get the tissue) He had so much fun today and is so excited about his trip that he wanted to let a balloon go up to the angels that never got a chance to take their trips.:sad1: I was so touched by him. Here is a couple of pictures of the balloon going up.

That is SOOOOO sweet! What a thoughtful thing to do...

You guys are staying at GKTW, right?

I can not wait for you guys to GET THERE and then (after a LONG...very fun...vacation)...come back and tell us all about it!

I am so excited for you!!

Question about BBB~this may sound kinda dumb but..........do you tip your FGMIT? What happens if you have 2 of them?

Trying to budget our money for the trip and am getting confused!!:confused3

What a lovely thing for Hank to say! He is a special child - like Mark, I think his experiences have given him insights that other children just don't have.

We're looking forward to meeting all of you - we'll look for you at the Christmas party.

We leave in 4 days!

I am not entirely sure what you are asking... but at BBB they can do lots of kids at one time. You can ask for their chairs to be next to each other. As far as paying...you will have to pay for both of them. :) I think the lowest priced package is around $50 - $60 with tax. Does that help?

Sorry that I wasn't clear.:) I was wondering on top of the price you pay did you give your FGMIT a tip?

We are to check out of GKTW on wednesday the 12th and we are then going to check into Disney's All-Star Movies Resort!!!! It's only for one night though. We will stay there go to one more park and then head over to the Space Center for a couple of days!!

Something really cool about the Space center is that the day we are visiting (the 14th) the Shuttle is supposed to launch!! And we are going to hopefully get VIP seats for it!!!:cool1: The kids know nothing about that just in case the launch gets scrubed at the last moment!!

So anyway~I am getting more and more excited!!! Only 8 days left!! 8 is GREAT!!!!! :rotfl: :goodvibes

There is a whole BBB thread on here somewhere. I read it a lot before my last trip. A couple of actual FGITs would post there also and answer tons of questions. You do not have to tip your FGIT but you can if you want to. You usually have one main FGIT and one "helper" I believe. We tipped the main FGIT for each child, but you TOTALLY don't have to. If your budget is tight, don't even worry about it. I would never have even thought about it if I hadn't read about it on that thread. They seem to view it as appreciation if you DO tip, but if you don't, it is not considered a snub in any way. HTH.

I LOVE Hank's balloon for the angels! My kids usually let their balloons go to the sky for their angel brother. I tear up every time!

A shuttle launch? That would be SO COOL!!! When we were on our disney cruise one of our CM's was telling me that if the Disney cruise is arriving or departing the day of a shuttle launch, the Captain will position the ship so everyone can watch it and often sit there and wait for the launch before officially getting underway.

I completely jealous of maybe getting to see the shuttle launch! It is a night launch right? I love Kennedy Space Center and have to share that I saw the shuttle launch when I was 3! and I remember it to this day! It was so cool!

Janel I sent you a PM!

Oh my...I have no idea? I usually do tip my hairdresser...but I am not sure if Lisa did or not?? You could certainly add some on if you wanted to...but I don't think you are expected to?

What do you guys think?

That is a great point, on the FGIT tipping deal.

And I am still totally amazed at the shuttle thing...

I'm excited for you guys for the space shuttle launch. I was hoping there would be one when we were there last week so we could watch it from wherever we were. But, to watch from up close....that's a different story!

It' getting close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is so exciting!!! Lydia would LOVE to see a shuttle launch!!!

Cool Jessica! I am going to tell Lydia!

Can you believe it?!?!?!? We leave in only 4 days!!!! And guess what I still don't have anything packed!! I just started working on a list of what to pack!!:scared1:

I know it will get done!! Just trying to tie up some things around here first!!!

A couple of questions ( I will also post this on the main page ), I need to get the kids autograph books but I want really special ones, YKWIM? Where should I go or how should I make them? Also, I want to get a cute journal to writedown my notes about the trip so I can fill you all in. What do I get for that?

What I was thinking for the autograph books is I loved the "tags" that I saw in someones post and then put them in a scrapbook along with the picture. Does anyone know where I could find some tags?

I am getting stressed and nervous about this trip and I'm not sure why. Someone tell me tell me that this trip will work out and will be magical for us. :sad2:

Mackenzie did get a few things in the mail from the Big Give on Saturday! I will post pictures as soon as I can. The outfits are cute. :lovestruc

Janel,

Hard to believe it's only 4 days away. As for autograph books, I wish I would've known you would need them - I would've helped out. With only 4 days, you don't have much time to make anything depending on your schedule. You could try and print stuff out from the Creative DISigns thread. For tags, just buy some cardstock, and cut cards that are a decent size. Perhaps, you could go buy some Disney stickers and have the kids help out and put some stickers on some of the tags for the characters you know you will see.

This trip will work out and it will be very magical, I promise!!!! Think of all those people who go to WDW and do no planning at all and they have great trips. Problem for those of us that read DISboards, is we get all caught up in some of the planning.
