Hi all!

Well, I've just written in the Attractions forum about how I am becoming obsessed with planning for my upcoming trip! But I thought that some people might be interested in the oh-so-obsessive notebook I put together today to help with planning the trip. :earboy2:

I bought a 6x8" notebook that is small and light enough to take around to the parks every day. I covered the outside with cute Disney stickers to decorate. On the inside, I included as a header on a page (with separate sections highlighted in different colors):

--First page says Trip to Disney, and Dates (and more stickers!)
--Flight Reservations
--Car reservations/Driving Directions
--Hotel Reservations

--Ticket Information
--Park Hours
--EMH hours
--Fastpass Rides

--Trip Schedule
--A page for each day with order of rides to do
--Good Places to Eat
--Priority Seating Confirmations

--A page for each park with tips about it (Hidden mickeys, parade times, good snacks [dole whip], etc)

--What to pack for trip
--What to bring to parks each day

I thought that this would be a great way to keep all the information in one central place. And for any future trips, it is a great reference to look at! :flower: Please feel free to use the headings for your own notebook. I'd also love to hear if anyone else has made notebooks! :cool1:

That's great! Have you looked into purchasing a Passporter Guide to Walt Disney World Resort? It is perfectly designed for people just like you...plus you get the added bonus of Passpockets, one for each day of your trip. A great way to keep track of PS times, parade times, anything else...and a place to store receipts, fast passes, etc.

Thats a really good idea. I'll have to make something like that for our next trip! Thanks for sharing.

I do it in folders!

Resorts (3 diff resorts)
Transportation
Itinerary, budget, packing, shopping (this is all in 1)
Restaurants
Parks
Illuminations cruise, mini-golf, Downtown Disney

I have a binder with different sections for planning -but love, love, love the PassPorter and will get a new one for next trip!

Hi!

I think that a wonderful idea! :Pinkbounc
I have so many notes and ideas and reservations to remember that I need to organize myself a little better. I will try the notebook!

Thanks,

Oh, yeah,

I've got a notebook and it is filled tot he brim with reservations, confirmation numbers and a bunch of other various items relating to the Orlando area. It has been a huge help having that book.

All my info is in one place and organized by area of interest.

I gotta admit it is one heck of a deal.

My DS and I are also on our first mother/son vacation. We will be at the Pop Century august 15-18, then off to a 3 day disney cruise.

Also, like your DS, my DS will become a teenager (the last day of the cruise)!

What an "exciting" time lol! I hope I can survive the teenage years.
