OMG I can't believe Vera has gone after so many years on the street. It will be really odd seeing Jack on his own.

I never ever cry at telly but that was sooo sad:

RIP Vera we'll miss you. :(

I did :flower3:

I dont watch Corrie normally but tuned in to see what happened - thought it was well done!

 Yep bauled (sp?) like a baby :rotfl2: I knew it was coming but didn't think it would be like that, in a way though how nice to not have a big dramatic death!

I join the crowds of kleenex users tonight, mind you, thats nothing unusual these days :lmao:

My hand's up too...a few tears rolled down the cheeks! Jack was adorable!

In a strange way I bet it wasn't hard for him to play that, after 34 years of working with someone in such an environment, I bet it's just like she really has 'gone'.

Brilliantly done Corrie!

Me too, it was very sad, nicely done tho :sad1:

Didn't watch it BUT will catch up - and OMG I just know I'm gonna cry my eyes out... End of a V-Era.... :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Glad I'm not on my own!

SPOILER ALERT!!

She just passed away in her sleep and Jack found her when he came in from the pub. He was really sweet and covered her up with his coat so she didn't get cold.
Bill Tarmey did a great job and I bet for him it was like Vera dying, as the OP said - the end of a V-era. That made me laugh.

Corrie'll never be the same.

OMG, I only caught up with it today and cried like a baby, very well done I thought. (not me crying, but the whole scene).

I finally watched it 2 nights ago, cried like a baby!!! Jack was so sweet and tender and it was just beautiful and sad :sad2:
