Christmas is almost here, and I'm one excited Christmas freak! Hooray!!
In my family we choose to spend money on experiences instead of gifts. We do things like renting a cabin in the snow, Santa train, Christmas shows, Ice skating, 12 days of Christmas doorbell ditch...whatever! We make our gifts instead of purchasing them to make up some of the expense. (except for the kids, they get a mix of handmade and store bought, and a some what needy portion of our family that we buy gift cards for) In the past years we have given journal jars, Ice cream sundae kits, 12 days of Christmas in a box, framed kids art, photo calenders, and lots of others.
I read tons of crafty/idea blogs but I'm still on the hunt for some fresh ideas!! What are some of your favorite handmade gifts? Either ones you made or ones you received! Share some of your favorite Christmas traditions and activity's too if you don't mind! Christmas freaks unite!!! :yay:
