Handmade Christmas present for BFF

My 1st attempt at a quilted purse - for one of my best friends, who loves Bambi like I do.

That's adorable fabric - and you did a nice job with the sewing. Did you use a pattern or just plan it out yourself?

Thank you! It was the fabric that inspired me to do something because I loved it. It's Thomas Kinkade and I found it at Hobby Lobby. I did use a pattern for the purse itself but I got several simplicity patterns at JoAnn's when they were 99 cents each. It has pockets inside. I did have to quilt the fabric as it was not quilted. I do not have much sewing (or crafting of any type) experience so I was pretty excited with it.
