I have rented a single stoller in the past but this time I will be taking two kids.
One of my kids is old enough to walk the whole time, but I can hear it now
" It's not fair, I have to walk and he gets to ride." So, I think I will rent a double this time.

I would like to know if the double is much harder to push and navigate thru the crowds than the single. In the pass, the single has been great enabling me to move so much faster with kid in stroller in stead of lagging behind.

Anyone who has rented both in past.

I've never rented their singles, but I rented a double for my 4 and 6 yr olds last summer and I was absolutely amazed at how easy it was to push with two larger kids in it! You can almost push it with one finger. It is incredible.

Of course, it will be a bit wider so you do have that to deal with, but it really didn't bother me. And of course, it definitely beats hearing the "It's not fair" routine. Boy do I understand where you are coming from with that!

I've done both. The double is no big deal. The only time you'll notice a difference is if there are HUUUUUGE crowds. For example, if you watch Wishes from the Hub and then walk down Main Street with the rest of America to go towards the park exit. THEN, the double will slow you down a little, but still it's not a big deal.

We did a double for our first trip. For our second, we started with a double but then changed to two singles after a few days because the kids were fighting when seated next to each other.

I have 2 kids and never had any trouble with the doubles at all. They are easy to move around, low to the ground & sturdy with a roof/shade tough enough to rest my backpack on. I always got the double even when the kids were sort of big enough to walk alone because one of the 2 was always looking to rest, eat, snack and I liked having a place to store our bags & drinks & stuff. As they got bigger the 2 would take turns getting in for a rest. The last time I got one DD was 5 & DS was 6 and they both snubbed it.
