Handicapped Seating at ESPN WWOS

I just saw that spring training will be when we are there in a few weeks.

When I went to the website they did say all that was left was lawn seats, but then I saw an option for handicapped seating. I would prefer to sit in a wheelchair anyway which we will have.

It says to call ticketmaster and they will complete the transaction? But I dont know if there is another seating area etc or even seats for that matter.

If you have ordered tickets or sat in the handicapped section can you please share your experience. Thanks.

We haven't gone with a wheelchair or needed the H/A seating, but we were at spring training a couple of years ago. As with most baseball stadiums, there are areas in various locations throughout the stadium where a wheelchair can be pulled up to the railing and a folding seat is provided for a companion. I'm not sure how many are in your party, but you'd want to check if they'll allow for more than 1 companion.

I know you didn't ask, but just to share...we found WDW transportation to ESPNWWoS to be extremely lacking in service, or even GS knowledge of where to catch a bus. I'd suggest you plan your own transportation if at all possible.

I haven't done spring training games at WWOS specifically, but I do have experience with wheelchair accessible seats at spring training games at other stadiums.

There's probably no way to really know if there's accessible seating (other than if the lawn is accessible, which it very well could be) still available without calling. Some teams do let you book online when it comes to accessible seating, but there doesn't seem to be 100% uniformity in the booking system for spring training parks yet. Looking at what is available for non-accessible seating doesn't really tell you anything. I've had experiences where there was very little regular seating, but I was able to get a wheelchair accessible seat in a good location (I've only been to games with one other person, however, I believe most baseball stadiums will allow up to 3 "companions" without making a fuss if the space is there). I've also had experiences where there were loads of regular seats available, but no wheelchair accessible seating. One thing I did find was that if you can transfer/do enough steps, ballparks all have places to store a wheelchair (it's not always close to your seat, but they do have them).
