We will be at ASMu from 12/21-12/27. DH is having hip surgery in November, and already has a list of limitations, etc. We know that he'll need a wheelchair so would like a room with a king bed, but there is also a question of his ability to step in and out of a bathtub, so an accessible shower might be necessary. Who do I contact about this? A wheelchair in a value room is challenging enough, but DH in Florida without a shower for a week? Not a good idea...!

You should be able to book an accessible room, either online or in the phone, depending on availability. So I guess you call reservations and change your booking?

Just from my experience, a handicap accessible room has lower beds as well as a roll in shower. This might work for your husband. (I've booked this rooms for several years). However, last year I had difficulty getting in and out of the bed (bad knees). I needed assistance all the time.

This year Disability Services recommended that I book a standard room with just a shower. The shower had a "lip" to get over to get into the shower. The bed and shower worked well for me.

You book an accessible room when making your reservation, either online or on the phone. For the dates you posted the accessible rooms at All Star Music are booked up. You need to call, and may have to change resorts.

Sports has this available
Standard Room. Wheelchair accessible with roll-in shower and option for hearing accessibility. 1 king bed
