Handicap Seating for Lights! Motors! and Fantasmic!

Hi! We are heading to the World this December and my father will be using a scooter (he had a partial foot amputation that has had ongoing issues, and he is unable to climb stairs or walk for long periods). Has anyone used the scooter/wheelchair section for Lights, Motors, Action, or Fantasmic recently and could provide some information about the location and seating for additional family members? We will be utilizing our Fastpasses for these, but my worry is that we will be seated far away from my dad, and if that is the case, I'm not sure it would be worth it. My parents are only going to experience Disney with my 4-year-old son, and I know he would be disappointed if he was not with him. Thanks for any help!

Handicapped seating for F is at the top of the amphitheater. There is room for one person beside the guest in the wheelchair/ecv, and the row in front of them is for additional guests. If you have a large party, you should plan on splitting up, since handicapped seating is limited.

At LMA there are a couple of different seating areas. One is at the top and requires an elevator ride (you will be directed by a CM). The other is nearer the bottom. Similar seating arrangements for the guests accompanying the person in the wheelchair/ECV.

To help you visualize what the other posters were explaining, here is a picture of the Fantasmic accessible seating.

The very top row has spots for wheelchairs/ECVs with a spot for one person to sit next to the mobility device. The rest of the group would sit in the 2 'blue line' rows just in front of that row.
There are also a couple of accessible seats at the very front.
