Hi there - We are travelling back down in May and my MIL is joining us. She just recently received a handicap parking pass and I have a few questions that I'm hoping you guys can help me with...

1. She lives in Canada and the pass is from Canada - will this present problems?

2. If so...how do we go about getting her one to use in Florida?

3. And finally, we're renting a car...is there anything the rental company will need to do or know about? (My DH will be driving, MIL will always be a passenger.

Thanks in advance!

:)

It should not. Florida and most (maybe all) of the individual provinces of Canada have a reciprocal agreement to honor each other's handicapped parking permits.

You should not need to.

No. We have never said anything about DD using a wheelchair when we have rented a car/van.
