We are bringing my 81 yo DM with us to WDW in a couple of weeks. She has a broken arm and also is able to walk very little so we are going to get a wheelchair for her. Sometimes we'll use the Disney transportation but we'll also have a van rented since we're going to VB after WDW.
Here's my question - if we do decided to drive and she decides she doesn't feel comfortable doing the step up to the tram will we be able to park in the handicap parking area? We don't have a permanent handicap parking permit. I read the FAQ and it said they patrol and ticket if you don't have a parking permit so I wanted to see if there is something temporary that Disney provides.
