hand stamps & non-smoking

First timers to WDW. We are staying at CBR and have heard many wonderful things about it. (Thanks to all who have posted)

We plan on coming back to our rooms in the afternoon to rest/swim, then heading back out to the parks later. Are there any chance that the stamps will come off our hands during this time?

Also we are traveling with DD8, DS5 and MIL. We have already requested connecting rooms & Martinique to be close to the bus stop. Should I call/fax for non-smoking? Non-smoking would be as important to us as connecting rooms. I forgot to ask about that when I made the reservation.

The hand stamps only show under ultra-violet light and do not wash off.

Call and have "request non-smoking" added to your reservation. Please keep in mind that it is a request only, and make sure to let them know it's the #1 request for you.

Your hand stamps will be fine. I agree with Anne. Call and have that noted in your request.

Those handstamps seem to never come off! LOL We scrub our hands and our son's hands every night trying to get them off and sure enough by the end of our vacation we have all the stamps still on both hands.

If you are asking for non-smoking for medical reasons, like someone has asthma, they can guarantee non-smoking. But you have to tell them that when you make your request. Since I have asthma, I always request it and have never had a problem.
