Hand sanitizer - almost empty

This is the first time I've ever made it to the bottom of a pump bottle of hand sanitizer.

There seems to be about 3/4" of gel left which seems thicker than normal and it won't pump? Is this normal? Is this what's left after the alcohol evaporates? Any way to avoid this?

I have another new bottle and its more liquididy.

None of my bottles seem to pump out that last bit.

If you think it is alcohol jevaporation ust add some more to the bottle and shake it up good.

I have this happen with liuid soap on a regular basis and I just add water, shake and pump works again. At most I have to rinse out the pump too.
