medicine, laptop, camera, ipod, change of clothes, printouts of all reservations, and a page with all key phone numbers/passport numbers/ ff numbers etc.

We just got back, between 4 of us we had,
3 laptops, 4 cameras, 2 video cams, PDA/satnav, wires, card reader, chargers, 4 phones, webcam, 3 mp3 players, batteries, tapes, (sure I missed something )
sweets, asprin
2 files full of documents for flights, insurances, cruise, car, hotel, apartment, tickets, vouchers, coupons, passports. etc

I always get stopped for a bag check thru scanner, they say I pack it too dense, the scanner cant distinguish all the stuff.

We take 2 fruit salads, scones, sandwiches & go early to get settle in cafe area, Dh gets a cooked breakfast, we all get re fillable drinks, ds & I have scones & we all share 1fruit. Sandwiches are for on plane. Sweets, newspaper, mags, Dh's DS & PSP, travel games, travel pillows, paracetamol.
This year will be a little different as we are only allowed 15KG luggage allowance, we will use our 5KG hand luggage allowence.

a book or magazine each, ipods, mobile phones, bottle of water (though this time we are flying UC so won't bother taking water as they give you a bottle each on the plane), tickets, passports, hotel confirmation, car hire confirmation and any other paperwork.

This year we're staying at Gatwick the night before so maybe checking in then too and so we'll have our nightwear and dirty undies in our hand luggage too
